Wonderful choice for Bucharest!
Outstanding historic hotel in Bucharest. Well located. Renovated to match its 1930 build date. Breakfast was wonderful. The air conditioning was outstanding. Get a room with a balcony. Make sure to go out to what used to be the former pool. Lots of history.

The hotel was alright, beautiful decor and placed in an old building. The downside was that the room was not very well maintained, e.g. bathroom door handle was coming off completely, door stopped was off and left on the ground, the carpet didn't look very well hoovered. But on top of that, there was no hot water neither in the evening nor in the morning and we had to shower with cold water which is not ok for a 4 star hotel. And when we told staff in the morning upon check out their only response was "when did you shower, because the hot water returned an hour ago"....again for a 4 star hotel I'd expect hot water 24-7.

Biggest problem was the shower. It keeps changing temperature while you take a shower regarding of the setting. It can get too hot and it burns you. Then if yiu put it a bit towardss cold it turns cold. Impossible to set it right. First day the AC wasn’t working well but they did fix it the same day. Probably a setting issue. The other problem is that they have a few steps to get from lobby to elevator and no ramp. If you have a heavy suitcase hopeffuly there is a man there to help you out.

A cute hotel in a good location in the city. Room was beautiful and spacious. Also very clean.

First time in Bucharest.
Beautiful hotel with its own particular style. Located in an excellent position, ten minutes from the bus stop to the airport and ten minutes from the center. They assigned us a nice large room with a small balcony (which we specifically requested) overlooking the avenue, equipped with a kettle, bathrobes, and slippers, and a minibar (which we unplugged at night due to noise). And they also gifted us two chocolates.
Nice elevator with a gate. As long as there isn’t someone who carelessly closes it, blocking the cabin on the floor.
The cleanliness was very good.
Breakfast in the complex was more than satisfactory.
The bathroom was a bit dark (also because one spotlight was not working) with a large functional shower and a nice floor in faux gold mosaic.
The sink is very aesthetically pleasing but has a somewhat "lazy" drain.
The reception should have maps of Bucharest available (which can be found at the tourist information point at the university metro station).
Like many large hotels, the temperature control is only partial, so to avoid being cold (in this extremely hot June), we slept with the window open.
The curtains only partially block out sunlight.
