Stayed o right with a car. If you plan on travelling through Bucharest with a car this facility is perfect. Free parking, close to old town to walk or short Uber drive.

They charged us double for mini bar at checkout. Even though they were wrong, we ended up paying to avoid getting into an argument and missing out Uber

Bad behavior

The worst hotel we have been to in terms of behavior, although as rooms are spacious and the location close to the center. Unfortunate the breakfast, the culmination that we were ruined our holidays as we were accused of damage to the room that was before and we kindly did not mention. We were also threatened to be expelled.

The worst hotel in the world

The room had maintenance issues, and instead of offering to change our room, they tried to charge us unfairly. They demanded a large amount of money for a door that was already broken. They even intimidated us by saying they would call the police if we didn’t pay, and that we might miss our return flight.
The breakfast was very disappointing as well. Unfortunately, I can’t rate this place with a 0.

Watch Out for the Hotel’s Exchange Rate (10% Extra)

new hotel, but with a low-cost feel. The room was modern and spacious, yet the amenities were below 4-star standards. In the bathroom, the shower gel, shampoo, and soap were single-use and only provided for one person, even though we had a double room. The hairdryer was very basic, almost just for show. At the bidet, they had placed a mesh screen (clearly, whoever put it there didn’t know what it’s meant for). The bathroom lighting was also very poor.
Breakfast was very varied, offering everything from cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, cold cuts, and cheeses to hot dishes such as boiled eggs, omelets, sausages, frankfurters, bacon, and even… French fries. There were two espresso machines, which was great, but the only downside was the milk—not fresh, just UHT, which unfortunately spoils the good taste of the coffee.
The hotel has a fairly large private parking lot and, much to our delight (though only briefly), it also had an electric charger. When we asked if we could charge the car, the answer was yes, upon request, but we had to notify reception so they could unlock the charger with a key. We agreed, but the key could no longer be found, and the receptionist apologized, explaining that “the boss charged his car earlier and may have taken the key with him.” So, the charger is basically reserved for the bosses and only exists “for show” when it comes to clients.
Upon departure, when we wanted to pay for the room—which was booked at €100 per night—we were unpleasantly surprised by the exchange rate: 5.5 lei per euro, roughly a 10% markup.
Conclusion: Pay close attention to the exchange rate or to the currency you select when booking directly on the hotel’s website.
