The hotel is a bit outdated, but the food is a 10 out of 10! The breakfast is rich in variety and perfect for anyone. (I really don't understand the negative comments saying the food isn't good.)
We were pleasantly surprised at dinner. The food was delicious, and the presentation was very nice.
For us, the food gets 10 points, and the hotel gets 8-9 points.

No WIFI

Hotel is old, but rooms were clean. Hotel doesn't have acess to wifi, even you see posters with password on every step, you can't connect... in 21. century is unimaginable. Breakfast is ok, but the biggest issue is when you have many tourists ih hotel, there is a problem with quantity.

Very old and tired, no ventilation in rooms, uncomfortable beds, dirty fridge

Hotel Silva looks so old and tired, it even has the same carpets from when I visited as a child many years ago (!). The only nice thing remaining is the restaurant which was once elegant but now has very old, stained fabrics. Our room completely lacked ventilation, had a vile smell and we developed Covid after staying there. I had written and phoned the hotel weeks in advance to ask for a room on higher floor with nice mountain view (that we paid for), they ignored my request and allocated a room with view of car park and some concrete roof (see attached pics). Our beds were very hard, had a very uncomfortable sleep. The fridge in the room was dirty, disgusting (see attached pics). Hotel Silva is a shame, strongly advise not to stay here.

incredible view

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Silva Restaurant in Busteni. The tranquil atmosphere and spectacular scenery of the Bucegi Mountains made this experience truly memorable. The staff was very attentive and friendly, always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise, with delicious and varied food. We had the opportunity to taste both traditional Romanian dishes and international options. Breakfast was also plentiful and offered a variety of options to suit all tastes. 10/10

Very bad experience

I book a room with 1 large double bed and I received a room with 2 single beds. I try to get them together but wha spade was to big to sleep on. Saturday to Sunday I have no electricity into all my room . As to the reception nobody care . I have to shower and shave in the dark room . Absolutely disgusting all the experience

We are truly sorry to hear that you had such an unpleasant experience, but we don't understand how no one would react to your room not having electricity, this is not something that our staff would just ignore. We would have offered anyone in that situation a different room.
