From the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the right choice. The hotel has a great atmosphere and a welcoming vibe that immediately puts you at ease.
Our room was incredibly spacious and meticulously clean. We were delighted to find that it offered a beautiful view of the lake, providing a serene backdrop for our morning coffee. The quiet and tranquil environment was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. A highlight of the room was definitely the bathroom, complete with a lovely jacuzzi tub – perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
The breakfast was a fantastic buffet with a wide variety of excellent options to choose from, catering to all tastes. The hotel's pool and spa facilities were also top-notch; clean, well-maintained, and a great place to relax.
We appreciated the convenience of the free parking. Overall, a wonderful experience of peace and quiet. We can't wait to return!

Room was still dirty as in not vacuumed or floors washed or countertops unclean after finding long black hair in carpet multiple times on the tile floor and on top of the countertops. I accumulated what I found n left it with reception upon departure most uncomfortable stay I’ve ever experienced for a luxury spa for adults only

Nice, too bad for the staff behaviour!
Spent here New Year’s Eve, staying between 30th of December 2025 - 2nd of January 2026. The location is nice, clean and the SPA is wonderful. Unfortunately, the staff needs to be trained more on how to treat the customers (we were rudely informed, when we wanted to have dinner, 1,5 hours before restaurant closing time, that they will not stay 1 min over, and when we wanted to order, they told us that some items from the menu are not available, even if we saw that others were served with the same items).
Also, during the New Year’s Eve party, we had to bag the staff to play some music that we can dance on ( in the end, they played it but after more of the people from the party asked the same). On and all, if the staff will not change their behaviour, the hotel will lose the customers, unfortunately!

Splendid in Name, Disappointing in Reality
Splendid Hotel is indeed splendid — but in a negative way.
It was the only hotel that refused to reschedule our stay free of charge, even though the event we were attending was canceled due to a national red weather alert and state of emergency.
All my colleagues (at least 80 people) who booked with other hotels were offered flexible, no-cost solutions. Only this hotel’s staff decided to charge a ‘rescheduling fee’ identical to a full cancellation.
This was by far the most unpleasant customer service experience I’ve had in recent years.
I contacted the reception immediately to request a date change, but was met with a rigid and unhelpful attitude — confusing communication and incomplete information. Despite following all instructions and working with both the hotel and Booking.com, my request was treated exactly like a cancellation, with full charges applied.
Apparently, for this hotel, a national emergency is not an exceptional circumstance — just another opportunity to charge guests as usual. Truly splendid.

The hotel is located on a busy street, so every time you get to the beach, you have to cross a six-lane road. Breakfast was good, but we ate the same thing for five days. There wasn't much variety, and the ladies kept taking their plates right out of their faces after putting down their cutlery. Unfortunately, our room was infested with ants, and we have photos to prove it.
