Good location
Hotel is situated not than 30 minutes walk from Christmas market on Mihai Viteazul square.
Good location close to main boulevard and tram station.
It's was very good heated room and the bathroom was warm too. Clean towels.
Not enough socket plugs so I use the one behind the night shelf.
There is a moni bar ,with price list. Good wifi and TV in the room.
Breakfast was simple but good. Coffee was good .
Stayed one night only,just for the Christmas market.

– Unacceptable hotel. We paid for breakfast and when we went down in the morning to eat we were told that there was no breakfast that day and that they would give us a sandwich (2 slices of ham cheese-tomato-lettuce bread), we were unhappy because for a 4th grade hotel this is unacceptable but we say tespa we have many days of travel ahead of us, let it go. In the end there were not enough "sandwiches" for everyone and we had to pay for breakfast outside the hotel. The carpet in the room was very dirty and the air condition was at 30 degrees while outside it was 37!!!! without being able to tease it. The only thing that makes this hotel 4 stars is the gold card for entering the room. Do NOT stay at this hotel for any reason. Unprofessional, crooks and dirty rooms.

Leaking water and to much time spent for food
Not a top hotel according to its 4 stars qualification. Water is leaking out of the shower for no reason.
Restaurant is a big loose of time. Waitting over 50mins for bringing the food(for sure it is not a fast food, but 50mins are too much) because there are too many orders(less than 8-9pers in the restaurant).

A Pleasant Surprise for first time visit
As a frequent traveller to Craiova this is the 5th hotel I’ve tried. I was concerned when this was my option for a last minute trip. After a four night stay I would not hesitate to return.
The hotel is a little way out for the centre but < 10lei in a taxi or < 30min walk. (Unless familiar with the area, the taxi is the better option).
I had a double room which was clean and perfect for what I needed. The hotel does not have a modern feel to it but for 8 of the 10 hours a day I spent there my eyes were shut. Room had a safe, bathroom ok (I’d describe myself as sturdy and showered ok) and satellite TV where many English speaking programs shown with Romanian subtitles.
I slept well with window closed. The outside temp was ok so don’t know how one would fair in the Summer. There was a sturdy Air Con unit which if efficient and silent running should do.
I only had breakfast but it was probably joint # 1 with other experiences. You can make a Full English but you’re not in England so treat it as a representation.
Staff spoke English, extremely friendly and helpful. They had a nice un-fussed nature which made me feel it was more like a B&B.
Mini-bar in room but supermarkets nearby. (About £1 for a bottle of water in minibar)
Laundry good service (£10 for 2 shirts washed & ironed, 3 pair socks / underwear).
It does weddings and functions so at weekends earplugs will probably be a wise addition to your case but this is same for most hotels.
If you are travelling on a budget (business or pleasure) this is a good choice. I would believe room and return taxi to town centre still less expensive (and less busy) than city centre accommodation.

It's got all the basics
Hotel is easy to get to, and has got all the basics. Good sized room, clean and comfortable (Extra pillow required). Walls are super thin and I found my floor a bit too noisy. Staff were nice and friendly.
