Very nasty staff

The location is very good, and the hotel in itself is very cute. But the rooms were very dirty, the beds horrible, and the staff was extremely unfriendly. Breakfast was included but they made comments and constantly gave less than what was included in the menu. Not going back.

Not worth it

I do not recommend this place at all. The food is poor. The heating is closed at midnight knowing that the coldest time of the night is between 3-4am.
There is not proper hot water to shower with in the evening nor in the morning.
The cleaning is said to be done at our own risk as they say people steal from the room. You want value for your money? This is not the place!

Not A Good Place To Sleep When There Is A Loud Party Going On

This hotel is located in the central part of Hateg. Our 1st night staying there was fine. The room was clean, comfortable and the air conditioning was good. The staff were nice. Breakfast was average - nothing special. We arrived back to our room around 10:45PM the 2nd night to a very loud party that was taking place in a banquet hall that is built directly under where the hotel rooms are located. The music was blasting and there was a big crowd of over 100 young people attending this party. We asked the staff when they anticipated that this party would end. They responded that this party would probably continue until early morning hours. We informed the staff that we will not be able to sleep with this kind of music blasting until the early morning and we will most likely be checking out right away. We went out late about 11:30pm searching for another place to stay for the night. After inquiring at several places we found another place to stay. We then informed the staff of Vila Veche that we would be checking out of our room due to the loud party going on. The staff were fine with that and they stated that they would not charge us for the room that night. They apologized for the inconvenience and were at least cooperative and nice about us checking out early. It was however, a major hassle to find another place to stay at 11:30pm at night but there was no way we would be able to get any sleep with this loud party taking place. I don't blame the staff as they just work there, but obviously the ownership of this hotel do not not care if conducting a loud party disturbs their guests that are staying there. I'm not sure how often they rent out this banquet room for these types of party events but I suggest that you definitely inquire with them before booking this hotel, particularly on a Friday or Saturday night.

Good position

This is not a hotel but a guest house. A good place to visit the country surroundings. The hotel has several parking places in the courtyard. It has a restaurant with a terrace with prices OK. Simple Breakfast Buffet.

What you pay is what you get

This place is ok, but there are some problems: the room was not so clean (we found spiders, bugs, etc). They did not clean the room every day, not even the trash!). They have free parking, free wifi. The price was ok, the food was good and not expensive. The staff was ok, but we have the feeling that they are desorientated, like they have no one to manage them.
