Good for the price

We came here for the festival. We stayed in one of apartments in mamaia nord. Room was a good size, had a fridge with complimentary water. Really clean and good for price. Receptionist was very pleasant & helpfull. Definitely coming back.

Verry nice for families

I had a room with kitchenette that meant a microwave, dishes, a small fridge and a sink. The garden is big with a playground for kids, grass area and terrace. The kitchen is small but fully equipped and with a big dining area. A grill is available for customers. Basically if your kids are too small for restaurants or if ypu are unwilling to pay 50 lei for a fish with veggies @the restaurants nearby, you may cook. Rooms are clean and have daily cleaning service. The host is nice as well.
As you turn at the roundabout nearby, You have to park in front of the villa and the toad has no asphalt but it's safe and clean.
On your way to the beach you cross the road at at the zebra. Can go with a strpller as well. The entire area(all mamaia) is a construction site, don't compare it with Greece or Croatia: Romania does not know what tourism is, and certainly this Mayor never heard of cleaning services for Mamaia. But once you get you the beach, expect gray soft sand, small shells and cigarette mugs( the cleanest yoj can get), clean chairs to lay on at 25 lei. The water is not deep.
At night it is quiet
I gave 5* to Ambient because it is what i expected, and what they promice on their website. Google street view slso pictures nicely the area.

Convenient accommodation in a very expensive resort

Car is mandatory if you want to rent a room here. It's on the other side of the main road parallel to the sea. You can reach (via car) all the beaches in Mamaia Nord in less than 10 minutes.
It's basic accomodation but very clean. The service was excellent, very friendly. The main advantage is the huge yard, were the kids may play safely. The kitchen may be used by the guest staying there. One improvement expected thou, as we are in the 21 century, is the dishwasher machine. The most annoying thing during a holiday is to clean your plates by hand.
