A brilliant host and couldn't have asked for more. Very responsive and accommodating. Shame we couldn't stay longer but hopefully in the future. Thank you.

Perfect place
An excellent place to eat,sleep and stay.It is a fairy tale place.Staff is very friendly,silence is everywhere.We would recomand at least 5 nights stay to really enjoy the place.Congratulations to the owner of the place.

Better off to a place near Sibiu
Unfortunately there aren't many good things I can say about this guest home.
I must acknowledge the sole positive aspect, which is their accommodation of our late check-in, despite us arriving 45-60 minutes behind schedule. However, behind this point the positive things stop.
To put it plainly, the value we received did not align with the price of 350 RON per night that we paid.
Once you arrive there, they have a weird policy of removing your shoes right at the entrance, with the claim, that they want to keep it clean. However, it raises the question of whether this is intended to preserve our cleanliness as guests or merely a means for the establishment to upkeep its own tidiness, and make the mandatory cleaning part easier on their side.
This is not to say that the room we got was clean - it was dusty and there were spider webs on various corners of the room (this can be seen in the attached photo) - so that claim fails from the start.
Disappointingly, our allocated room did not had a balcony and exhibited an unsettling odor.
The room was very hot, with no AC / minifridge and the minimum of bathroom necessities (only the standard round dime hard soap) - in a 350 RON per night stay.
There weren't any mosquito nets on any of the windows and because of that, on the second night we arrived at the location, the bathroom was full of bugs.
Furthermore, the inadequacy of the drapes to fully close due to a ceiling support beam not only permitted unwanted light to infiltrate but also compromised the expected privacy that any guest anticipates (as depicted in the second attached photo).
Curiously, despite the guest home boasting a minimum of five rooms, a mere three parking spots were designated within their yard. This forced us on the second night we arrived to park on the street - again we are talking here about a 350 RON per night stay.
They do not have a catering service - all that is provided is cooked in house. While this approach holds a certain charm, it's important to consider the pricing. Regrettably, the cost associated with their offerings mirrors that of an urban pub or restaurant located at the heart of a major city. You are better off driving 45-60 minutes to Sibiu and dine there.
Additionally, the owner's "office" was inside the kitchen where the meals for the guests are prepared. I know this, because I walked in (with my shoes on) during the check-out.

Home away from Home
The Host Mr.Mircha is a perfect gentleman and made us feel very comfortable.
If the intent is to pick a place that takes u back to your roots, then look no further. A lovely homestay kind of atmosphere replete with a garden and decent parking space. We loved the fact that one could sleep here peacefully without the need for any AC or Fan.
You can walk around the house and garden barefoot, and the hosts make it a point to serve you some amazing dishes. We would love to come back to this amazing place and stay much longer.

Great stay - all that we wanted
Stayed for 2 nights, great comfy room, good food and very accommodating.
Our stay was booked via Transylvanian Cycling which made things nice and easy.
Very friendly staff could not have wanted more, even the local buffalo’s being bought home every night was an experience never to be forgotten (note fresh warm buffalo milk is delicious! )
