An enchanted parenthesis
It’s a simply magical place… The decoration is sublime both in terms of design and the quality of the objects and furniture used! We remain surprised to find such a level of excellence... We were 3 couples of friends, we really experienced an enchanted break during our trip to Romania. Many thanks to Protours.ro for organizing this stay for us and allowing us to discover this place!!!

You are looking for a trip in the heart of Romania in the Brașov area but you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city center?
I might have found the ideal place for you: Das Fort Boutique Râșnov.
Located at just 20 minutes drive from Brașov City Center, at Das Fort Boutique you’ll find the tranquility you are looking for.
You will definitely fall in love with the design of this boutique hotel. The attention to details simply blew my mind. You will literally feel like taking a picture of every single corner of this hotel. Being an old restored building, the old and new elements are in perfect harmony.
From the design to the services, from the warmth of the personnel to the taste of the food, everything was simply perfect.
The breakfast looked like taken out of a travel magazine and the cooper bathtub in the room added a super romantic touch to our stay.
Also, don’t miss their fitness nook and dry sauna.
No matter if you travel with your partner, with your family or with friends, I can assure you that you will fall in love with this place.
Make sure you go on a hike to Râşnov Fortress. We hiked on one side and took the stair route upon return, but take into consideration that you can also take a fun ride in the funicular. Annnndddd if you are traveling with kids, make sure you don’t miss DinoPark.

Our 18 years aniversary was ruined
The worst experience i ever had with a hotel , the personal os awfull , we paid for 4 night end up by leaving early . They charged us stuff on our room that we didnt order and when i asked why the boy said im sorry im not the receptionight , come back and talk to the manager tomorrow. Of course like i would drive again 4 h to talk to a maneger just coz they didnt know how to charge correctly. I made a complaint anyway , i hope they get a big fine and put things in order.

Posh restaurant with flawless service and tiny portions
The review is about the restaurant only, as we just stopped here for lunch.
Dinning at Das Fort is more about plating than taste. The chef seems to be obsessed about various green leaves, as every dish came covered in leaves. Just like some botanical experiments. After removing (or eating?) the leaves, one could see the actual food: tasty microscopic bites covered in various scent leaves. The baked cabbage with truffle puree was a real hit. A taste to remember! The trout was too small to understand the taste; I just detected a hint of smoked trout with fermented cream. Good wine, coffee and lemonades.

Perfection
The whole experience was SUPER , the place / design is incredible./ impeccable The food 10/10 . The service ( Robert ) was so professional, Robert is an asset , keep up the good work . I highly recommend this place . We also viewed one of the lovely rooms , love the decor
