Hotel Imperial Timisoara by JR
Mali hotel Imperial u Temišvaru smješten je u mirnom kvartu, 7 minuta od centra grada, 5 km od zračne luke Traian Vuia i blizu velikog trgovačkog centra Lulius. Sve novo renovirane sobe su klimatizirane. Imaju besplatni Wi-Fi, kabelsku TV i minibar.

Room and Breakfast Quality Far from 4-Star Standards
We chose this hotel based on the positive reviews and the photos online, which showed clean, modern rooms and decent conditions for a 4-star property. Unfortunately, our experience was below expectations.
Check-in:
We arrived on Friday evening and were asked to pay for the room upon arrival. This was surprising, as it was the first time I had been asked to pay before the stay. Usually, payment is made at check-out.
Room:
The double room we received did not match the pictures online. The furniture was old and worn, with visible scratches and dents. The TV table had a crooked leg, the bed was unstable and squeaky, and the bedding was poorly arranged, leaving the mattress exposed. The paintings on the walls were crooked, there were clear signs of water damage on the wall adjacent to the bathroom, and the bathroom bin had a broken lid. The carpet was rough and uncomfortable to walk on, and the door had an old-fashioned key attached to a large and heavy keychain – very impractical.
Breakfast:
Breakfast was another disappointment. The cucumbers were wilted (likely sliced at least a day before), the fried eggs were broken and swimming in oil, and the cold cuts were tasteless. Jam was served in large shared jars with spoons, not in individual portions. The tea was granulated and low quality (like Ecoland), the so-called orange "fresh juice" was actually a cheap-tasting drink, and the coffee – though made with a machine – tasted like it was from powder capsules or something similar.
Parking:
The free parking was actually on the street, in front of a "Profit" store. If you wanted to park inside the hotel property, there was an additional fee of 40 RON/day – a detail that wasn’t clearly communicated beforehand.
Location:
The hotel is located in an area that can't be considered "premium." The streets around it were dirty, there was an unpleasant smell, and in the evening, intoxicated people were shouting outside – which did not create a feeling of safety or comfort.
Conclusion:
Unfortunately, our experience did not match the expectations set by the hotel’s 4-star rating. The room conditions, breakfast quality, and location left much to be desired. A reassessment of the hotel’s classification would be appropriate, as well as a more honest presentation of its actual services and amenities.

Hotel from your nightmares
This hotel is not worth a single penny and taking money from a guest who is accommodated in such a room I was in, it's a pure robbery!
I understand that the price was relatively low, so the room doesn't need to be super modern, but it needs to be well maintained.
The bathroom was in a terrible technical
condition: visible damages, lack of shower
screen, rusty, damaged waste bin, leaked ceiling.
It was also dirty: mold in the shower, dirty bin filled with some disgusting leftovers from the previous guests, dirty, stained towel.
The room was extremely cold so I was freezing during the night. The receptionist upon checkout admitted that they already switched off the heating. Well I understand that a few days before it was warm, but these days the temperature during night drops down to few degrees.
The WiFi was so poor, that in the evening I could barely use it, and in the morning was simply not working at all. The receptionist also admitted that guests complained about that.
Breakfast was super poor. I was there around 9. The staff was not managing to replenish the buffet on time. So there was no bread, no eggs, only some leftovers, no cups. Nothing.
The hotel did not provide any proper service that I paid for. When I made a written complaint, the Hotel Manager replied to me in an arrogant way that according to the hotel regulations I have 30 min after check-in to express my disappointment, after that they do not accept any complaints.
To sum it up. It was my worst hotel experience ever.

A hotel I'll never go to again
We arrived at this hotel through holiday auctions, the hotel is just outside the center of Timisoara, the location is fine, but is true on a busy road, but public and taxi, s less than 20 meters from the hotel and within walking distance are fine restaurants and supermarkets.
A review of the hotel is difficult, about the staff nothing negative, these do their best to help you despite the language barrier, but the hotel itself....
Our room was large but atmosphereless, a dirty carpet, broken beds with broken shelves, hard but saggy mattresses, bed linen with holes and stains, a sofa where you sat on the wooden beams, a bathroom with lighting without a cover (life-threatening) , broken bathroom furniture, broken lighting and there were still a few points which also in a country like Romania can not pass the bracket. Also, our room was never cleaned during our stay, we never received clean linen and clean towels, well we did not miss those clean towels, because because of the blockage in the shower cabin the bathroom was full of water within 2 minutes and further showering was no longer possible, also washing at the sink was not an option because it did not empty during use.
We are not talking about the barking dogs that make a decent night's sleep impossible, because the hotel itself can not do anything about it, but know that there are many dogs in the area here sleep outside at night and actually make it impossible to sleep decently, because of the persistent barking.
If we still keep about the morning breakfast, if you like a cold sticky bite, with lots of grease and dirt, dry white bread then you eat fine here, if you fancy a decent morning breakfast then I recommend you to eat at the neighbors and not book the breakfast of the hotel itself, which is not worth a single euro.
Again, the hotel is in Romania and there they have different standards of comfort and luxury, but the one star I give is only for the friendly lady behind the reception.
Overall, a very bad hotel, with fantastic staff.

What about...
Hotel not far from the city center by car. Very low price by our standards but also the quality is not very high for a 4 star. Room also large and furnished very simply. Breakfast decidedly poor and extremely hot breakfast room, we went into the garden to make it.

Never come back
Room 315 looks like this… how can you say that it is a 4 stars hotel when it looks like this? Tv, phone and internet didn’t work, I had to go to the reception tot tell the guy something it’s not ok. And he was playing on his phone, threw me a new key saying I will bring him the old key after I move my stuff
