Not to be missed!

The location is in a mountain town — Vișeu de Sus. Easy access, right off the main road. It's a 4-star property. Very large, clean rooms. Good, varied food. Diverse breakfast. Very good coffee. Spa access on-site is included in the accommodation price. For more demanding guests, the location also has a new 5-star building with ultra-modern rooms and apartments, plus free access to the outdoor pool. The location has generous free parking.

Beware! "Verde by Hotel Gabriela" is a deception – pure incompetence and shortcomings.

I can only urgently warn against booking at this hotel. What is advertised on portals like Booking.com and Check24 as the new "Verde by Hotel Gabriela" is a pure customer trap. It is a system for deceiving guests: You book the new hotel, but are then accommodated in the old "Gabriela" hotel under false information. This violates the fundamental obligation of lodging establishments to provide real information about the name, type, and services offered in promotional materials.
Here are the details of my disastrous stay:
Room and amenities: Although I had paid for a double room, I only received a single room. The condition of the room was unacceptable and a safety hazard. The balcony door was broken, and the electrical outlets were literally coming out of the wall. According to applicable regulations, the operator is obligated to ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of the equipment throughout the entire operating period and to rectify defects immediately.
Staff and management: The staff shows a massive lack of professionalism. The manager thought it appropriate to engage in irrelevant political discussions instead of taking care of the guests. When I asked for a room change, I was met with a completely phlegmatic attitude. This contradicts the requirements for qualified staff and the professional suitability of management in the tourism industry.
Opaque costs: When booking "Verde," it was not mentioned that the outdoor pool at the "Gabriela" hotel is not included. Worse yet: The prices for the pool seem to be set arbitrarily per person and not per service. This is a clear violation of the obligation to clearly and non-discriminatorily disclose prices for all costs, including VAT and additional charges.
Massive noise disturbance: Sleep was out of the question. Every night (even on Monday!) weddings took place. The noise was deafening. Hotels are legally obligated to ensure that guests are not disturbed by noise.
Breach of contract: Legally speaking, a room booking constitutes a contract that obligates the hotel to provide the booked room and the agreed-upon services. In this case, the contract was breached by the hotel on almost every point.

Highly reccomended for family vacation!

I've spent Easter holiday with my family and friends at H. Gabriela where we had a great time. Great Accomodation, Spa facilities, and services. Food was good but papanasii were the best ever!

Better not

Very poor service. The rooms are not cleaned in an adequate manner. The food in the restaurant is mediocre. All in all not a recommendation.

Good food at reasonable prices.

Nice service. Nice locations. Good food for reasonable money. Huge party room for a wedding. I only ate on site, so I can't comment on the hotel, pool area or wedding venues. The only downside is that the outdoor dining venues are located right across a larger road, but traffic noise comes with it.
