Close to Masjid al Haram
The hotel itself is fairly decent, I would not say its 4 staff, I would give it 3 stars. Room is spacious and offers tea, coffee and water everyday. The bathroom was very dated, old and smelt damp all the time. Needed to keep the bathroom door closed otherwise the smell would come into the room.
The room had air-conditioning, it was slightly noisy. We were on the 21st floor however they had 6 working lifts and can get down for prayers in without any issues.
The hotel housing keeping were great, they couldn't do enough and were very helpful.
The reception staff only one spoke fluent English, the other spoke broken English and rest spoke no English so communication was an issue.
One night we had a lamp that blew up, called reception and told them what happened, they literally didn't come up even though he said he understood me. However when I called back with Google translate after waiting an hour, they came up straight away.
Breakfast was ok, the egg station staff member everyday was so miserable, cracked shells into people's omelette and didn't like people pointing it out to him. They catered for everyone from curry in the morning to meatballs. They had a toasting station, tea and coffee and cheese.
