We had a wonderful stay at Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Riyadh. The hotel offers exceptional service, elegant rooms, and a truly luxurious atmosphere. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay.
One of the highlights was the hotel’s excellent location. We loved the surrounding area, with its convenient access to Al Faisaliah Mall, restaurants, cafés, and nearby attractions, making it easy to explore and enjoy the city.
Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we look forward to staying again in the future. Highly recommended.

What we enjoyed the most about our stay was the genuine feeling of belonging. It was truly one of the best Mandarin Oriental experiences we’ve ever had. The level of personalization was exceptional — everyone addressed us by name, which made us feel incredibly special.
We arrived a day after my birthday, and our butler surprised us with a bottle of sparkling wine, a thoughtful gesture that made all the difference in making us feel so warmly welcomed. Every evening, returning to our room to find chocolates and dates was another beautiful touch that showed such attention to detail.
The property itself is absolutely stunning, with remarkable design throughout. Our room was beautifully decorated, with exquisite attention to detail and special amenities that made the experience even more memorable. The gym and pool areas were also excellent, perfectly complementing the overall experience.
It was an unforgettable stay, defined by warmth, care, and impeccable service.

The Best Version of an Old Favourite
Al Faisaliah has been part of my life for over two decades. There was a stretch where I spent a night a week in Riyadh, and this hotel — along with the old AlKhozama — was simply home.
Returning after a long absence, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Renovations can go either way. What I found instead was something rather special: familiar faces. Staff from both hotels, still there, still warm — and they remembered me. That kind of continuity doesn’t happen by accident. It says everything about how this place is run.
As for the hotel itself, the Mandarin Oriental may be the finest incarnation Al Faisaliah has seen. The room update is genuinely classy — considered rather than showy, which is exactly right. But it’s the service that stays with you. Friendly, attentive, and completely natural. Not performed hospitality. The real thing.
I had breakfast and dinner at the Brasserie on both visits. The kitchen has always set a high bar — and somehow they’ve managed to raise it. That’s no small feat.
If you knew this hotel before, come back. And if you’ve never been, now is the time.
