I love Hotel de Fleur Lys it is very welcoming and confortable. I extended my stay in the hotel because it was very convenient.

Highs and Lows

Great location for exploring the local landscape off a quieter side street not far from the University campus. Dakar's open sewer is not a good idea; it pollutes the air, ruining your walking experience, and there were stagnant pools of water on the frontage, along with trash cans that have seen better days. The atmosphere is dead quiet in the rooms, a huge plus because the outside is busy and can get loud. I stayed on the 4th floor; the room was large. I love the high ceilings. The mattress was perfect, and sleep quality immaculate. The carpet had seen better days. Cleanliness was wanting; roaches were creeping in from the drain. A fumigation should be done — because the rooms are good. The carpet from the lift was not clean; it was damaged in spots. There was hair from the cleaner left on the floor of the bathroom. A big bonus is the rooftop pool; the temperature is right with 360 views. The gym has amazing potential because of the view of Dakar on 8th floor, but the windows are dirty and spoil the experience. Poolside cleanliness was also not good. Breakfast was adequate; coffee was below expectations. The food and drink are quite pricey. Fleur de Lys Point E is a mix of highs and lows.

The cleaning staff were absolutely horrible. I had to beg for towels and cleaning products. However, the reception staff were helpful to restore some sanity. They went above and beyond to aid me during a GI illness during my trip. Kudos to them! Should fire all cleaning staff immediately. They were rude and obnoxious.

Well appointed and decent size room. Cleaned regularly as well. The area is quiet but on a small street.

Nice, clean and well organized

I really liked this hotel! It is beautiful, clean, super organized and with a very well made food! Breakfast is not the most filled but has everything someone needs to start the day! Enormous, spacious rooms, WC also space and impeccable cleaning service! My stay here was wonderful and would come back many more times
