We booked last minute and got a room without a window on the 5th floor which was fine. The folks coming in late at night and leaving early in the morning yelling in the hallway and letting their doors slam wasn’t very nice. We were in Singapore for an elite athlete event and good sleep was a priority for us. The staff was very nice and the room for the price was perfect!

The room is fine if you’re only going to sleep there, the space is very small and a bit uncomfortable. They ask for a cash deposit upon arrival, which was strange, I didn’t pay it because I only had a card and they wouldn’t accept it… It’s cheap and well located. It works.

I stayed at the Moonlight Junior Suit, which offers a unique open air concept, albeit not for those who are very keen on privacy.
As you can see, for example, the bathroom area is completely open and the flats opposite, albeit at a significant distance, have a direct view on the open area.
Having said that, the open air bath, which can be filled up and stays full overnight, contrary to what other reviewers have stated, and and the open air terrace, which stretches along the full width of the building, makes this a unique experience.
The living room and bedroom can be made totally private, but you have to cross the open air space in between.
The fittings and decor of the place is old, outdated, and damaged. Mostly functional though, but it spoils the experience somewhat. If only the hotel owners would spend a bit of money on bringing the room up to standard, this would be my favourite mid range priced room in Singapore
Hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and are willing to assist (within their limits)
The area in which the hotel is located is somewhat dodgy with quite open prostitution going on. Having said that, this is Singapore and it’s still safe.
In summary, if you are able to see through the issues mentioned and have a slightly exhibitionist streak then I certainly recommend this room for the unique outdoor experience at an afffordable price.

Property located in the vibrant little India area so many dining options. It was safe and clean but the shower was inadequate as it didn’t have a shower rail at head height - easy to fix.
