Great stop over
Location was perfect close to eateries and Santosa Island. Rooms were great clean and had everything that you needed. Service was amazing

Will not stay here again
Arrived at 7am after over 24 hours no sleep. Room was ready at 10 but had to pay early check in fee or wait two hours, despite the room being ready. On check in, dried urine on toilet seat in room, I cleaned up, went to reception to let them know. The one USB socket for charging phones etc didn’t work. They then rang me THREE times while I had a do not disturb status on to clean the toilet after I had already told them I cleaned it up and was trying to sleep. The wooden block with the QR code (very eco friendly!) didn’t work. The one plug in the bathroom for shavers was not standard or the same as all the other sockets and therefore useless. Asked for the duty manager to call me in the evening about the urine issue - no one contacted me. Gets one star for location but I would never stay here again, absolute circus.

With regard to your arrival, our standard check-in time is 3:00 P.M., and early check-in is subject to room availability and the applicable charges. While we are pleased that your room was ready ahead of the standard check-in time, we understand that this may not have aligned with your expectations following your travels.
We sincerely apologise for the cleanliness issue you encountered in the bathroom upon arrival. This is not reflective of our usual standards, and the matter was immediately shared with our Housekeeping team for review and corrective action.
We also regret the inconvenience caused by the maintenance issues you highlighted, including the USB charging port, QR code stand, and bathroom shaver socket. Your feedback has been shared with our Engineering team to ensure these items are thoroughly inspected and rectified where necessary.
Following your feedback during your stay, we conducted an internal review and confirmed that our Duty Manager subsequently contacted you to apologise for the bathroom issue and offered a room change as a gesture of service recovery. We understand that you preferred not to be disturbed further and therefore declined the offer. Nonetheless, we respect your decision and appreciate you bringing the matter to our attention.
While we are pleased that our location was a positive aspect of your stay, we are disappointed that the overall experience left a less favourable impression. Guest feedback is invaluable in helping us identify areas for improvement, and we thank you for sharing your observations with us.

Home Away from Home
We stayed in Dao by Dorsett frpm July 27 to Sep 1st. While the entire stay was very pleasant, convenient and comfortable, the in-room attendant Mr. JoJo was amazing support. He was very pleasant and professional. Always smiling. He supported us understand how to operate the equipment in the room. Cleaning of the room was done excellently without disturbing our privacy. Most of the time when he came to clean, my wife and daughter were only there. He noticed that i am using folded pillows as they were not comfortable for my neck. He himself checked if a cervical supporting pillow is needes and brought it promptly. This is the example of customer service I habe received. Really happy and wishing all the best to Mr. JoJo and the rest of the in-room attendant team.

A relaxing stay!
Rooms and beds are comfortable and roomy. The central pool is large however not enough loungers for the size of the resort. Location is mid way between beach and Old Town and free shuttles are offered to a beach club and also into Old Town. Breakfast has a large selection of both Western and Asian dishes.
Reception staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to ensure your vacation is comfortable.
