First time and Singapore and was amazed already by the honesty on the neighborhood. Amenities wise, clean and neat room, safety area! Closer to the stations! And of course, aesthetics is 10/10 from check in up to the room.

First the bad stuff:
The room was cleaned satisfactorily. The hooks on which the towels hung on left a brown stain on one of the towels.
There was a toothbrush left behind by an earlier guest in the tray that housed the shampoo and body wash. So cleanliness in the bathroom was unsatisfactory. The handwash near the sink wasn’t wiped down either.
The voices of the occupants in a room down the hall could be heard through their doors and mine until almost 2 am. The windowless room is situated in an area where you can hear multiple motorcycles warming up their engines and so if you are okay with noises like these throughout the night, then you will be okay. If not, bring ear buds to cancel out the noise.
Now the good stuff:
The bed area was cleaned satisfactorily. Floor was clean and bed was comfortable. The water pressure of the shower is excellent and for the price, you are provided with wifi, an in room safe and even toothbrushes and toothpaste, which was a nice touch.
The main pro in booking a room here is the easy 5 min walk to Kallang MRT and the multiple eateries around you.
Check in was smooth and communication was timely. Instructions to check in was easy to follow.
I am staying here again on 21 Aug in a different room. I will see if that makes any difference in my opinion of the establishment after this one night here. I hope it does.

This is a self managed property. No manager, nothing. The cleaning lady tried so hard to assist with the checking in. She was a nice lady trying to help in absence of any other person. There was a QR code self checkin but at the time it had an issue and large number of visitors were just waiting for long time.
Then, there was a beeping maintenance noise in the room which eventually they gave me a separate room to sleep for the night (but the inconvenience of moving some stuff with me). Then, for 2 days, wifi was not working. At the end, I decided to move out earlier and forget about the additional night I paid for.

Not bad but no one to help at reception. No one is ever at reception. The laundry machine didn't work and it took our money. Room layout was not great but cleanliness was ok.

Everything nice and easy. Reception basically online mostly, but responsive.
