Good place to stay, clean, well located, works well

Location: Great location, about 10 min walk from Bugis MRT which is a direct line from Changi.
Bonus: There is an Indian food place just around the corner, on the same block, which is open 24 hours, serving cheap, very tasty food!
I have been staying at this hotel each time when I am in Singapore, for more than 10 years. It used to be the G Hotel. It is still my go-to after all these years, unless they are markedly more expensive than others.
Room: Compact. Clean, WiFi worked well.
Shower: Clean, hot, high pressure.
The elevator is very slow!
Marketing team? Typical Singaporean ... that's all that I have to say.

University dorm renovated to hotel

It’s like a university dormitory with a really nice bar and a modern gym
The bathroom is tiny, so showers will make the toilet area wet with water
Bed is decent
TV in the room doesn’t have channels. It’s just a screen to project your device onto
Self storage area is on 2nd floor for luggage. Bring your own bicycle chain lock.
Taxi drop off is on second floor. Check in is on first floor. You will also have to walk a flight of stairs, in case you want to carry your luggage to check in counter

Overall, we think this hotel is good value. Things that we liked- the common kitchen, complimentary tea/coffee, gym, availability of laundry machines, water cooler to provide chilled water, rooms were mostly comfortable and clean. However, improvements could be made to make the rooms outstanding, one of which is to put more hooks on the walls to make up for lack of counter space.

Small cramped room size, (bathroom, bedroom, desk area). Not enough space for two adults. No access to free tv stations. I would not recommend this hotel to friends or family. The staff was knowledgeableand friendly. The location was excellent.

The building is in a convenient location and well thought through. The service is good and there many nice restaurants and shops around. The building has some issues with mold (ventilation, mattress, bathroom, etc.), even though it seems to be maintained regularly.
