Close to everything, nice and helpful staff. Comfortable beds and great amenities like kitchen , common pantry and relaxing couches.

The hotel looks aesthetic and new but this is deceiving. The beds are not comfy and the bathroom has a weird smell (like sewage) coming from the drains. The cleaning service is every 3 days which is poor since you need to request replacements for towels and TP via WhatsApp (and sometimes requests are not replied to in a reasonable time) - at times the front desk is also unmanned. The facilities in the room are poorly designed: only 3 plugs (out of 5) worked and once the "main switch" for lights is turned off at night no outlets work (so you can't charge phones overnight). The coffee and food in the cafe downstairs is poor too: the coffee and food at other places nearby is better. The only positive I can think to add is this hotel is close to MRT lines, a shopping mall and near to a variety of restaurants (South Asian, East Asian, Turkish food etc).

Recognition for Outstanding Service by Front Desk Receptionist

We would like to sincerely commend and express our deepest gratitude to the male front desk receptionist who was on duty during the afternoon shift of May 12, 2026, until around 10:30 PM. Unfortunately, we were not able to get his name, but we truly hope this review reaches both him and the management team so that he may be properly recognized for his exceptional efforts.
During what was a very stressful situation for us, after accidentally leaving an extremely important item inside a taxi, he showed remarkable initiative, patience, and genuine concern in helping us. Instead of simply giving standard assistance, he went above and beyond his responsibilities to help us find a solution and guide us through retrieving the item.
His professionalism, compassion, and willingness to help made a huge difference and turned what seemed like an impossible situation into a successful one. Employees with this level of dedication are rare and deserve to be acknowledged and appreciated.
We are truly grateful for his kindness and outstanding customer service, and we hope management recognizes him for the excellent work and care he showed that evening.

Enjoyed our stay at Owen House.
Laundry facilities could be upgraded as irons needed bases cleaned. Room was clean. Tea/coffee satchets were minimal in room. Also, no spare toilet rolls and we were staying a week...had to ask a few times for extras.
Otherwise, it is situated in a great spot close to transport, and having City Square Mall a 3 min walk away was so handy .

AC was difficult to adjust. It was either too cold or too hot in our room
They provide water to refill but it's only in one floor.
Cleanliness could improve in the hallways outside the rooms. Unfortunately we did find a roach in our room.
Location was nice since there is an MRT station very close by and a mall
The staff for most part was helpful if we needed anything from them, they immediately provided it.
