In Singapore

We stopped in March 2026. Located on the outskirts of Chinatown, the hotel is within walking distance of sights and the city centre. Restaurants and food courts are within walking distance. The hotel does not offer meals.
The room is small, but there is everything you need: bed, fridge, tea corner (kettle, cups, spoons, tea, coffee, which were replenished every day), TV, table, chair.
The bathroom has a hairdryer. Gel shower, shampoo, toilet paper were replenished every day as they were consumed.
Cleaning every day.
Demanding a credit card number.

No frills hotel

Small room as can be expected. No bottled water, just drink it from the tap. At least they provide tea/coffee maker in the room.
Check in very efficient. Helpful front office staff. No frills lobby. For public toilet you have to go across the parking lot.
Good area with food outlets and MRT BrasBasah station nearby.
The Church Bell is your morning call.

A good location

We stayed there 5 nights, the staff is friendly, the rooms are not very large but are sufficient.
It is also very central and close to the metro station of Bras Basah where there are also many restaurants.
Overall it is therefore a good solution to stay in Singapore

Great distance to Phil Studio, value for money!

It's easy to spot the hotel since the colour is so vibrant! The booking and check-in processes were fairly easy, hotel is quick to respond to messages when I asked if I can store my luggage before check-in to go sightseeing. Staff was considerate and helpful. My room was upgraded for free, it's at the 11th floor and hotel has 2 lifts so definitely suitable for families with elderly or kids. The room comes with clean towels and pillows, kettle, clothes hangers, coffee and tea making set, and multiple power plugs. The bathroom is simple and nice; there were complimentary soaps, shampoo, body wash, and extra toilet rolls. The WiFi is working well, the aircond temperature can be adjusted manually, water heater is working with good pressure as well. The room is not too fancy but I have almost nothing to complain. The location is also good, walkable from bus stops and MRT, and near Phil Studio for those going for gigs.

The place is very nice and clean. and also staff is very accommodating. They have smoking area outside the hotel. Very peaceful place. Near Churches. We love the Place so much. ❤️ Thank you, OXFORD HOTEL 🇸🇬
