Wonderful Visit

If you are looking for a personal and enjoyable place to stay not overrun with other tourists you will enjoy your stay very much. The rooms are clean and the managers are nice. We stayed there in 1959 and really enjoyed our visit.

Rats wouldn’t even stay here

We walked in and walked out !!!!!!! That says it all .. it was dirty and smelled don’t know when it was really cleaned . We asked for a queen bed and I’m sure it was just a full size . I’m all for a room just to sleep and get a shower but I wouldn’t do either one there.

Horrible, just Horrible!!!!!

This has got to be one of the worst motel stays I've ever experienced in my 55 years of living. I'll start with the good first. The best thing about this place is its proximity to Disneyland. The only other good things were the bed was comfortable, the water pressure and temperature were good,the air conditioner was old, but it worked, and the tv got a lot of channels. Oh, and the manager and maintenance man were nice. Other than those things, this place is the pits!!! While I was checking in, I asked the manager did they offer breakfast. He gave me a look that said, "You're only paying $200 for 2 nights, and you expect breakfast?" He said something about $200, and said no, they did not serve breakfast. I get the key, (an actual key, lol), and head to room #6. The first 2 things I notice was one half of the curtain not attached to the rod, and the smell of smoke in what was supposed to be a non-smoking room. I go to the front desk and tell the manager about the curtain, he says he will send a maid to fix it. I go back to the room and wait.The maintenance man arrives. I tell him about the curtain. I also mention the smoke smell. He says he will bring some air freshener when he comes back with the ladder. When he comes back he hands me an almost empty can of spray! What am I supposed to do with that??? As he is attempting to hang the curtain, he says that there are not enough hooks on the rod for him to hang it properly. (How did the maids not address/fix this?) He does the best he can, but by this time, I am more concerned with the stale smoke smell. So I tell him thank you and I will talk to the manager about getting a different room. I go back to the front desk and ask the manager about changing rooms because of the smell. He says, "That's the problem. These are supposed to be non-smoking rooms, but people still sneak and smoke." He looks to see if there are other rooms available, and then he asks me if I want a room with a tv. Yes, I want a room with a tv! So he gives me the key to room #17,and tells me to check it out and let him know if I want it. I go to room #17,and the first thing I notice was the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door was up. I thought someone else might be in this room and the manager gave me the key by mistake. So I head back to the front desk and I see the maintenance man. I tell him what had happened and he says to go back and try the key, that sometimes the sign gets stuck. I do, the door opens, and noone is in there. At first glance, I think this room is an improvement from the first room, the curtain is hung, and there is no smoke smell. There is a tub and shower, instead of just a shower, and there are 2 beds instead of 1. And there is a tv, although it was not a flat-screen as they advertise, It was one of those DVD/VCR combos. VCR??? LOL! I decide to take room #17. I noticed there was only 1 set of towels so when I go back to the first room to get my luggage, I take the 1 set of towels from there. (Later, I'll be glad I did.) After my time at Disneyland, I stop and get something to eat, and bring it back to the room. There was a microwave in this room, but not a fridge. There were no trash cans in this room, so I just left my trash on the night stand next to the bed. When I get up to take a shower, I run the water first to get it at the right temperature. I notice that the water is not draining from the tub. I thought about calling the front desk, but there was no phone in the room, so I showered, the water rising to above my ankles. By the time I dried off and got dressed, the water had finally drained from the tub. I go to the park, come back to the room late, after midnight, and guess what? I had no maid service, the bed wasn't made. Maybe they thought, "She has a room with 2 beds, and she is only staying 2 nights. She can sleep in the other bed." LOL! The trash was where I left it on the night stand, and the wet towels were still on the floor where I had left them. Luckily, I had that 2nd set of towels from the other room.There was a ring in the tub from the standing water. I'm not sure if it was from me, or if the tub just hadn't been cleaned before. I hadn't looked before I started running the water. I get up, take another shower in standing water, and get dressed to leave. There were not enough shower curtain rings on the shower curtain. It was one of those cheap shower curtains. Some of the holes hadn't even been punched out yet. I decide to open the drawers of the night stand, and there were dead bugs in there. I look inside the microwave and it was filthy. I also noticed there were stains on the bed sheets that did not come from me. The door had no latch on the inside keep it from being opened, and there was no hole for the dead bolt to go into. On the way to my car, I noticed there was a mini fridge on the ground,not far from the door. Maybe that was the fridge that was supposed to be in room #17? I will NEVER, EVER, EVER stay at this hotel again!!
