Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

What a nightmare
While it had “elements” of a hotel, the rooms felt more like a hospital.
There was nowhere to put your bags except the floor. Under the bed, there no comforter or duvet, just a flimsy blanket.
It differed, though, by having the worst lighting of any hotel we’ve ever been in. We had to use our phones for better lighting at times. And you definitely couldn’t read after dark.
There was only one person working the front desk, and though they were not full, we were put in a room with exactly what we did not want. A connecting door.
And the FD person had no idea which rooms had connecting doors and which didn’t. So to find a room without one, she had to physically go and look at rooms.
We were tired. It was late. And we tried to avoid wasting time so we could rest by calling ahead with this request, knowing it’s not guaranteed. But at least they could know which rooms had this feature and which did not.
Additionally, the AC made a bad whining noise, and the thermostat was impossible to use...and we’ve stayed in hundreds of other hotels.
Plumbing wise, there was just a trickle of water pressure in the shower, and the toilet frequently did not flush. While the vanity in the bathroom was sufficient size, it was not countertop height. Absurd.
Lastly, I went to get a luggage cart to check out so I could get to a meeting. It took me 10 minutes to get into the room. When my key did not work, I went to the elevator lobby to call the front desk. That phone did not work. I then used my cell phone to call and got a busy signal. Fortunately, I saw a housekeeper down the hall and, after he made several attempts, I was able to get into my room. There is something wrong with the lock in 414.
Breakfast
They have a cook making fresh eggs and French toast. This was a surprise. Another “wonderful“ surprise was the cappuccino machine. It was a surprise in that it was present and also a surprise when it shot milk towards me and all over the floor once I jumped back. I was covered waste to toe with a spray of milk.
The front desk agent on duty said that this had happened other times. The thing is two weeks old. How has this not been rectified?
Also, the front desk staff is incompetent. We handed them a state tax exemption on checkin. It was not applied. When checking out I was told I had to sign a pad Without seeing what I was signing. Nope. I asked for it to be printed. Nope. I was also told this “form” should have been signed at checkin. As if that was my fault.

I had a wonderful experience at the Element Bainbridge Riverfront Hotel. The property itself is beautiful—modern, clean, and in a perfect location along the river—but what really made the stay stand out was the team.
Everyone I encountered was welcoming, professional, and genuinely cared about creating a great experience. You can tell there’s a strong culture here, and it truly shows in the level of service. The team works seamlessly together and goes the extra mile, which makes all the difference.
The hotel has some standout features that really elevate the stay—from the thoughtful design details like the lighted closets (such a nice touch), to the gorgeous bar that creates a great atmosphere in the evenings. The outdoor space is also a highlight—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the riverfront setting.
Food and beverage was exceptional as well. The executive chef is doing an amazing job, and it shows in both the quality and presentation.
The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt relaxed yet elevated. It’s clear a lot of thought has gone into both the guest experience and the team behind it.
I would absolutely recommend this property and look forward to visiting again!

Great experience!
This brand new hotel is incredible. First of all, the place is beautiful. It's located directly on the Flint River and has a very modern and comfortable vibe. The rooms are so well decorated and efficient.
Safety is a high priority here as you need your room key to get on the elevator as well as the pool area.
My favorite part is the staff. You will not find a more professional and friendly group of people anywhere. Their top priority is your comfort and satisfaction.
The check in process is excellent and management takes your individual needs into consideration. In particular, the General Manager is beyond professional.
I look forward to coming back and enjoying more.

Beautiful hotel
We had a wonderful stay. The property is brand new and situated right on the banks of the beautiful Flint River, an easy walk to historic Downtown Bainbridge and its array of shopping and dining spots! The staff was super attentive and the views from the bar and balcony were amazing. Highly recommend.
