Staying at the Blanco Riverside Cottages & RV was a wonderful experience. The check-in and room code for the door was all handled via email. We also had access to the Blanco State Park from our courtyard area. We had a beautiful view from our balcony and our stay was extremely quiet; we saw other guests, but never heard a sound from anyone. Our villa was huge and had everything we needed for our 3-night stay. We will definitely stay again if they have a room available for our next trip back.

Stay in Blanco

Great stay. Elissa respond to all our questions and concerns promptly. She is a great hostess and I recommend this property. Blanco is a small town, so remember everything is not opened the same as in your big towns.

The cabins were in a great location. The layout was awesome with enough room for all the necessary amenities without wasted space. It was within walking distance of the State Park with a gate access to get down to River access. It was also within walking distance to a nice Bistro to eat.
Very enjoyable experience for a 3 night vacation. withing reasonable driving distance from many wineries, distilleries and breweries. Also close to many other local caverns and touristy locations.

Some issues but nevertheless a great place

We stayed in the Green cottage for one night. The cottage is very cute and cozy, the bed and the sofa bed are very comfortable. It was immaculately clean. I loved the flowers on the front porch. We could not hear any highway noise in spite of it being very close to 281. The reason I didn't give this stay a 5 star was the position of the toilet in the bathroom. It was hard to get on it for me who is 5'4" and my husband who is 6'1". You could not stand up in front of it. Not a big deal but it was an annoyance. The other thing is access to the park. We were not comfortable to climb down the hill to get to the park access gate. For younger people it is probably ok, but for somebody with mobility issues it presents a problem. Probably putting up some railing will help. Overall, I would recommend this place. We would like to come back but will try a different cottage next time.
