The manager was extremely helpful. I lost my wedding ring somewhere in the room or down a drain. He called his maintenance guy who came right away. He checked the traps but couldn’t find it. I appreciated that they tried.

We got a non refurbished room with dirty carpet and an ancient bathroom that was not pictured. It had a dirty coffee cup in it and no screen in the window. We paid more for it than my family members who booked the same day who stayed in a refurbished room. The advertising pictures should match what you received.

This motel was a last minute, need a place to stay motel, as we traveled thru Brookings. It gets a lot of traffic noise due to location, and is definitely a no frills place to stay with no real amenities. No pool, no breakfast, just a place to lay your head. Bed was comfortable, however it was on a metal/tin frame that every time you moved or got on or off the bed, it made a LOUD banging noise. Room had had a partial update, but not anything to talk about, as the floors were very dirty, and bathroom in need of an overhaul. Great TV with Dish Satellite programming. Our coffee pot didn't work, so manager came right away and brought a new pot with decent coffee to drink. Price was way too much for this place, $159 + any taxes they added on. I had read that only last month, people were paying $99. That is a more realistic fee for this motel. If we had had more time to look for a place to stay, would have found something along the water, however those places were way overpriced for a one night stay as you travel thru the area. Motel was sold out, as it is a busy time of year and this place is right off the main road thru town.

The front desk lady was very friendly at check in. However, the floors were filthy. Took a shower, and when I cleaned the water off of the floor, the towel was completely brown from all of the dirt on the floor. Also, you can hear every word the people in the next room say.

The room was clean ish. The baseboards are dirty, ice bucket had something in it. We did re-clean the toilet because something was on the back. Staff was nice but didn’t listen to my concerns of being double charged ( second charge did drop off after 2 days). The people above us were SO loud too. For the price, not terrible overall but probably wouldn’t stay here again.
