A great weekend retreat

The food was delicious. The rooms were clean and it was quiet. The staff was friendly and available to help. The trek to the lake, with a paddleboard, was a challenge. The trail was maintained, but steep. The 10:00 checkout was a bit too early for me, but I made it.
All in all, a great place to stay. I will be returning.

The best features of the Grand Mesa Lodge is its location as the Crag Crest Trail system is near by. The Lodge/bar area is very good with decent food and bar facilities.
The rooms at the “motel suite” is like visiting a decaying deer camp from 1978. We had no hot water for two days and spent too much time on this issue.
The motel has a kitchen so bring your own groceries. Good location but a rough motel room.

Weekend at the Lodge Trailer Site

We rented a Camp Site on the property and the "actual" Trailer site was "OK"... but view a 10, Everyone working at the facility were great/courteous and very helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer and rented the boat/canoe for a day. The lake behind the Lodge is just gorgeous.
We will come back next year we hope!

this a no frills cabin! not many outlets for charging devices if your on the move. also missing curtains for windows in the cabin 15 i stayed in. was a lil creepy having lights on at night with no cabins in some of the windows downstairs. other than that it was nice for the location.

We loved our stay, we had everything we needed and the cabin was clean and all ready for us. We will be coming back! :)
