Shower was not draining properly. It was slowly draining so water was collecting in the tub. When water was switched to the shower head the water still kept coming out from the tub spout.

room was great. new paint. it faced a grass courtyard where we watched birds. Western bluebird, song sparrows, swallows and 2 others. We drove to the lookouts which was nice. They have food too. I ate chipped beef and biscuits.

Towel colors was dusky, Miskito were inside room, AC was very loud and I got sick with the AC. Looks like they did not change filter since long

The lodge was nice, staff upon check in were pleasant. Room was very hot and air did not work well even though there was a ceiling fan it was not pleasant. The room faced west so afternoon sun was on that side. I did speak to front office and they did provide a floor fan however it did not help much. Overall a nice place except for the air conditioning problem.

The night staff was not good. Was not greeted upon arrival. While I was reviewing the paperwork for check in the staff member took it upon herself to use my card that was on the counter to tap for payment before I was even done signing documents. My room card was given to me without a map and when I asked where the room was I was told “in the back”. If you have the extra money to stay at Holiday Inn or Best Western, I highly recommend it.
