Opal Sol, wonderful!

We stayed at opal Sol in Clearwater beach. It was a beautiful property, very clean. The beds were comfortable. The pool was wonderful, the pool staff were great, especially Eleni! Our rooms were tidied up each day. The Food at the restaurant and pool side was very good! The location is great. You can walk to a lot of surrounding restaurants. I will definitely stay here again.

OMG..Opal Sol is AMAZING! Every room is Oceanfront and the hallway going to the rooms face the a bay area with beautiful views as well. We stayed in room 1605 and when we opened the door to the room, we were blown away. The patio door provided so much light and an unobstructed view of the ocean that it made it look and feel like you were floating in the middle of the ocean! The room was as big as a small apartment and spotless! There is a kitchenette with white cabinets, a dishwasher, microwave, nice sized refrigerator, sink, and stocked with dishes. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with a large shower, very hot water, and thick towels/wash cloths. The patio was large and overlooked 2 pools and the ocean. An adult pool is on the 3rd floor. Refillable water bottles are in each room and there is a filling station on each floor. Every floor has a pantry area that is stocked daily with fruit, packets of nuts, and granola bars in the mornings and fresh cookies in the afternoons. Additionally, small bags of ice can be grabbed from this area. The room key is a water proof arm band which allows you free rides on the trolley. The fire pits and gas lights around the pools are lit at night which creates a relaxing atmosphere. Drift and Toast restaurants were delicious. The amenities were endless and I’m sure I haven’t mentioned all of them. Every staff member that we encountered delivered excellent customer service. Shout out to Daisy at the front desk, Kathryn in Toast, Wes at the pool for their attentiveness! Opal Sol is definitely the best hotel on the beach and I can’t wait to return!

Hotel staff were extemely friendly! The only issue we experienced was no AC for 1 day/night. Other than that, it was beautiful. Will definitely come back again!

Opal Sol - An amazing resort for all!

Really incredible visit to Opal Sol with the family in early April. In an era where most resorts and hotels are scaling back on hospitality and their handling of guests, it was appreciative to spend a few nights of our spring break trip at this amazing new property. From the minute we arrived until the minute we (reluctantly) departed, we were met with friendliness, service, and an overall feeling of being “welcomed.” It’s how it USED to be at a lot of places, and how it SHOULD be in more places. I travel frequently for work and pleasure, and Justin Beach and his incredible team at Opal Sol did not disappoint.
The valet crew was awesome. Got us loaded up quickly and right into vacation mode. When the room was ready, they had our bags up in no time.
The design of the resort is top-notch with a plethora of options for sunbathing, swimming, eating, shopping and easy access to pools, beaches, restaurants, spas, fitness, and local activities. The location is right in the middle of the action in Clearwater Beach! You can walk to just about everything in the area, however once you’re there it’s hard to leave the property. The lobby is enamoring when you walk in, and the views from the rooms are as good as you can get for the area, especially for sunsets.
The connection to their sister property, Opal Sands, is a huge bonus. It gives guests extra options for pool, food options, beachfront bars, and views for days. Another sidebar is a solid sense of safety and security. Wristband access at all entryways, hotel staff around, etc. With young children that is always a plus. And during the busy season, most resorts feel overcrowded and congested. Not the case at all here. Plenty of chairs at the pools, easy access to the beach and only guests of the resort on property. Win-win!
Having stayed at many resort properties like the St. Regis, Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, JW Marriott, Grand Hyatt, every Disney property, and countless in-between properties, Opal Sol certainly meets all of the luxury standards it stands for, however this property is a bit more down to earth and comfortable for families. The vibe is different and appreciated. Pricing is quite fair for what you get compared to other options in the area.
