Great place to spend the night at the halfway point of a 15hr drive. Young man checking us in was amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also top notch.

Clean room. Shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion were provided. Close to Walmart and restaurants. Breakfast was good. The breakfast attendant allowed us to get coffee early and start breakfast early. Great stay!

Small room

Overall it was a pleasant stay, fit the Hampton mold of a clean and quiet property with their standard breakfast. What I wasn't expecting was such a small room. Maybe should have figured it out being a one queen room. The only place to sit other than the bed was a desk chair which is not a super choice if you're using it for any length of time or two people want to sit together. Something I'll be more careful about in the future.

Avoid This Hotel!!

Upon checkin, the desk clerk was abrupt and rude. Most hotel staff, when asked for information, courteously help with directions and even a map. Not this lady. When asked about where to park to more conveniently access the elevator to the second floor, said, “you’ll figure it out!” She didn’t want to be bothered. Upon entering our room, there was a permeating odor as if someone had been smoking and the cleaners tried to hide the odor. We asked to change rooms and they put us in the room next to it. The odor wasn’t as bad but it was still there. Upon checking out, I left a Vuori hoodie and a shirt from the Loft. When I called to ask about them, they denied finding them and I KNOW they were left there. So someone decided to keep them. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stopped in York for some sleep in the middle of 15 hour drive. They allowed cats, so we checked in. Shower was clean & modern, the towels were ample. The thermostat kept the room nice & cold the way I like it. Curtains kept the sun out so I could get good sleep. Fridge was great to have as well as the coffee maker in the room too.
Overall, the property is a little dated, but it was clean & safe & the staff was nice. The stairways to my room smelled a bit like weed, but you’ll have that & most people use the elevator anyway.
Next time I’d probably spring for the Holiday Inn around the corner for an extra 35 bucks. But I got some much needed sleep & grateful for a hot shower, peace & quiet & cozy bed.
Desk staff graciously allowed me to check out at 12:30 which was appreciated due to my late arrival, I really needed all the sleep I could to drive another 8 hours.
