Thayer's Inn is delightful both in it's history and its staff. Cautionary note; there are no elevators and considering it's age, things like thresholds, floors, doors etc are challenging for older people to maneuver. History vs modernity. Awareness of such conditions will be helpful when booking. Yet with all that said, we were very pleased with our stay.

The hotel is a charming local place. So convenient for downtown exploration. Staff were super cheerful and helpful! Room was very clean and cozy. The included breakfast was basic, but nicely done and fit the bill. Would highly recommend for folks looking to stay in the area!

A wonderful hotel in a picturesque town. Loved it. Be warned (and in fairness it is on their website and I didn’t catch it) there is no elevator and my hubby and I are old and wrestling the suitcases up 2 flights of stairs was not fun!

Very uncleanly, booked two nights and only stayed one. Left without even trying for a refund. The property is not what is advertised. The problem is not its age, the issue was that the room was filthy.

This was a fun stop for our family. Littleton has a cute little downtown and the inn has so much history! We arrived later in the evening and there was an envelope at the front desk with our parking pass, keys to the room and a nice note to explain everything. We got in too late to get dinner at the restaurants so we were happy to discover fruit cups & yogurt in the breakfast area were available.
The only downside was the one mattress in our room was pretty worn so we rolled into the center and we were missing cups in the room for water or for the coffee pot.
Overall I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area! We did the Mount Washington Cog Train ride in the morning which was so fun!
