Nice, modern but noisy

The hotel facilities are nice, it is a modern hotel, the room is well equipped, everything very nice, the pool area is on a pleasant terrace. Across the street there is construction that generates quite a bit of noise from early on, which ends up waking the guests. They did not clean our room every day.
The reception service is friendly at first, but after you are already checked in the service is terrible; they do not pay attention to you if you speak Spanish even though the receptionists are clearly Latina, that was indeed disappointing. Checkout is very early and they block your key before the time, they do not even notify you, meaning that if you leave the room you might not be able to get back in...

We stayed here the night before our cruise and it was clean, safe and comfortable. Great location with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Excellent value for the money!

There is building project going on across the road. They started work drilling in the road at 11pm outside our room.
The hotel did not inform us of any work and we did not get any sleep after a 10 hour flight

New property, very nice.
Room was huge with a couch sitting area and then a bed on the other side of the washroom.
Very strict on check in times, but will store luggage for free while you go and explore.
Because of the strictness around check in times lines a very long to check in at 4pm.
Surrounded by new construction but was quiet when we staying on a Saturday night.

Isabella is a dream staff person. She is attentive, professional, knowledgable and does it with a smile. From talking on the phone days before my arrival she was always polite.
