Hotel is clean and well kept. Staff were polite and helpful. The free breakfast is also a nice touch.

So the property was honestly really nice. Very clean. The pool was an awesome add on. The breakfast was amazing. Here’s the downside, the ac in the room was honestly horrible. While it was cold the fan on the ac didn’t circulate the air at all. It was probably the worst part. But everything was amazing.

Extremely Disappointing Experience

Extremely Disappointing Experience
My family has stayed at this Hampton Inn for several years while attending our annual family reunion in the Manalapan area. We are families traveling from across the East Coast, and each year we block approximately 14 rooms for our stay.
One of the main reasons we choose a hotel like Hampton Inn is to have a comfortable place where family members can gather and spend time together after returning from our daily activities. Typically, we come back around 8:00 PM and enjoy a few hours of conversation and fellowship. Unfortunately, year after year, the staff seems intent on discouraging this.
When I made our reservations this year, I specifically requested first-floor rooms to minimize any potential disturbance to other guests. That request was not accommodated. In addition, as soon as our group began checking in, barriers were placed around the lobby/breakfast area, preventing us from using what is normally a common gathering space.
After more than eight years of traveling with teams, groups, and family events, I have never encountered this level of restriction in a hotel lobby during reasonable evening hours. Common areas are often one of the reasons families and groups choose Hampton Inn properties.
The hotel itself is acceptable, aside from some uncomfortable, lumpy pillows. However, the consistently unfriendly customer service and the ongoing limitations placed on guests using common areas have left a lasting negative impression.
Sadly, this experience has ensured that our family will not return. Based on other reviews I have read, this does not appear to be an isolated incident, which makes it even more disappointing that neither local management nor Hilton corporate seems to have addressed these concerns.

Very Clean and friendly . Great Breakfast. Also helpful we could have our pet travel as stay with us .
