Great surprise!

We stayed here a few years ago and I said at the time I would never stay again. We left another hotel in town to come stay here and we were very happy! The hotel apparently has been redone, the lobby looked great and our room was outstanding.
It’s such a convenient location and we’re happy to say we will stay here whenever we visit family in town.

Keep Looking - only good thing is the people

Good people is the only thing that made this stay ok. The hotel is OLD, the bathroom sink faucet was broken and only dispensed HOT water. The shower had mold around the edges and paint was peeling from the ceiling of the shower. The carpet square edges were coming up. The bed was way to soft. Breakfast was NOT GOOD but the Breakfast Host was friendly. Scrambled eggs were stale (dark edges) and the omelets were old and cold. The cereal was fine. One of the poorer stays at a Holiday Inn Express.

Feels Like Being Home Yet In Downtown Olean

Just about everything at this property was great. The breakfast was very well maintained and the attendant even came table-to-table to make sure everyone had what they needed. Best of all, the pancake machine worked, and they don't at many HHI locations.
Indoor pool was fantastic. The temperature was just right and very clean. The outdoor sitting area was literally like sitting in your home back yard. So quiet and peaceful for being in downtown Olean. Also a ton of charging stations if you drive a hybrid or electric vehicle.
Hotel and our room was very clean. Our only issue is that the molding along the floor in the bedroom was loose and coming off, and behind it was a lot of water damage including what looked like black mold. The wall was even soft toward the floor. Room definitely has had recent water damage that needs to be addressed ASAP. If not for that, we would have had no issues.

Jess needs a raise!!!

I had a great experience at this hotel, especially with the counter girl Jess’s help. She was extremely kind and handled a bundle of customers like a breeze. I probably wouldn’t have stayed here as long as intended, if it weren’t for Jess and her amazing attitude coupled with her ability to perform almost flawlessly.

Awesome hotel, again!

This was my 2nd time staying here this year and it was just as awesome as I remembered. The staff was kind and helpful from the time we checked in providing unlimited curtesy waters!
Our room was spacious and clean with plenty of room for me to spread out with my laptop and plug all my devices in with room to spare.
The bathroom was spotless and loaded with fresh towels and nice smelling soaps.
The free breakfast was hot and delicious with a tremendous selection. I had a cheese omelet both mornings and it was wonderful and I am really not looking forward to heading home and having to cook my own eggs.
The hotel is in a great location with convenient stores, bars restaurants and breweries all in walking distance.
It such a great hotel and I will definitely stay here again!
