Great night out!

We took our four houseguests plus another local couple to the Inn for dinner last week. Two attendees are very particular about their food and both ate apps / dinner and desserts! They were amazed at the drinks, wine and all three courses. Candace was our server and helped everyone chose dishes to fit what they wanted. We had a fabulous time and highly recommend Carversville Inn!!

Warm elegant dinner.

Our 3rd time back for dinner since the renovations. We really like the vibe. This time we enjoyed the baked oysters and duck confit as apps and both were delicious. We were provided excellent service from Mikey. Next time maybe dinner at the bar.

Quite a nice B&B with a great gourmet restaurant…highly recommend a stay with a dinner in the evening!

Made for a very pleasant afternoon

Came for brunch and it was our fisrt visit since the renovations. The rooms have been completely updated and the atmosphere was classy. I think the tables could have been a little further apart for conversations sake. Our waiter was right there and took our drink orders which arrived quickly and then we placed our food orders. I ordered the French onion soup and the double cheese burger. My wife ordered the salad nicoise with chicken for extra protean. We enjoyed our drinks and my soup arrived. It was just the right temperature for eating even though the cheese was well melted. I think that was a plus because many places served their soup way too hot and your main course arrives before you can even finish. The soup was rich and savory with just the right amount of cheese and croutons. I was able to finish and have a brief rest before our main courses arrived so the timing was good and our waiter kept checking without being obnoxious. I think a cheeseburger may look simple but making a good one is difficult and an excellent one very difficult indeed. I would rank mine as good and mainly because I like mine to be medium rare and leaning toward the rare side. I was warned by the waiter that they come meadium to well and I asked to have it on the low side. It arrived at medium as I was advised it would and I thought it was a little dry because of it. The pommes frits were as good as any I have had and very enjoyable. My wife said her salad was very good but had one anchovy that was extra salty. I tried a bit of it and I like salty but it was more than even I expected. Then we got coffee and shared a Creme broulee. The coffee was strong but not bitter and I thought much better than average. The desert was very light and silky with a nice crust of carmalized sugar. Overall it was a very pleasant afternoon.

Staff was amazing and incredibly helpful. Treated everyone like royalty. Shower, bathtub, and the heated floors were not in the photos, but better than our expectations.
