Quiet Room in the Heart of Sonora

Hotel Lumberjack is a modern/updated classic 2 story motel. The room was quiet, it is about a block from S. Washington St (the main drag in downtown Sonora). The room had many convenience amenities; microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, ironing board, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, large TV with over 50 channels. On the desk, there were USB charging ports, HDMI port (didn't use) in addition 2 AC power sockets. AC power sockets was also available bedside.
The breakfast was standard continental breakfast (waffle maker, yogurt, bagels, toast, hard boiled eggs, hot and cold cereal, milk and juice, coffee and hot tea, etc.
Heating/AC is provided by, motel standard, under window heat-pump. These units are kind of loud by nature. The room is not spacious if you’re going to spend a lot of time in the room moving about.
I’d defiantly stay here again.

The room was clean and fairly quiet. It was close to downtown. I’d definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay here, even if the room/hotel looked a little worn down. Must've been here for awhile. Room was clean and comfortable. Only two complains I have is that the room that we were in was frequently lit up by vehicles passing through from the rear of the hotel, and it took most of three minutes for hot water for the shower. I would come back if I have a reason to, however, we were just looking for accommodations for a concert up the hill. Was even more thankful for the hotel for accommodating my son and his girlfriend to join myself and his sisters and niece for the concert. We even got to spend breakfast together before making our journeys home. Much appreciated. Thank you again for your hospitality.

A little hard to find the office to check in. It's the office of the hotel across the street. Would be helpful to have more signs saying that on property. Once found, check in was a breeze. Great location for Yosemite National Park.

Loved handicap room but the walk in shower flooded the bathroom. Tha grate did not work
