Family vacation

This place is absolutely amazing just as it was 2 years ago July 2019 when we were here. We’re staying at the cabins across from bait house. Their currently undergoing some renovations in a few of them but there amazing very accommodating the owners both past and present have been the best! Love this place and can’t wait to come agian! Even though we haven’t left yet! Haha White Stag! Is To die for!

Family camping

My family and I have a seasonal spot at this campground. It's very family friendly and safe for young kids. You can get seasonal or rental spots. We look forward to every season among our camping friends.

Disgusting Cabins

We went there for a fishing trip October 2015. Most of the reviews are of the camp ground which may be okay. The cabins are across the street. They look like they were built in the 50's
Very gross! Mold in the bathroom, beds were falling apart (we had to tape a bed frame together), smoke detector was at 30 years old and did not look like there had been a battery in it in years
The chairs in the room are old banquet chairs.
We go on a lot of fishing trips and stayed in some old rickety places but I have never seen anything this horrible.

interior wall is only a single sheet of panel board that could be pushed into the next room. graphic graffiti scratched into the panel board
TV was 13" and cable channels use the digital tv with numbers like 76.2301 - no guide
stopper for the kitchen sink is a cue ball, the one for the bathroom is golf ball
gas heater in the room looks dangerous and not controllable - way too many btu's for the size

Perfect size and great location

This is the first year we've ever camped. We loved it so much that we bought a camper and are now staying seasonally at Bayview. It's the perfect size campground for us. Great people around and the campground is right next to the lake. We (our family of six) love it!!!

Could not accommodate, although they said they could!

Extremely disappointed with our experience here. We booked Labor Day Weekend and were told the space was big enough for our coach (40' diesel pusher). It was not even close to large enough. We had reserved 4 sites with friends. We had no way of getting all of our campers in the spaces provided. They said there was room, but we walked down before driving, and it's a good thing we did because we would not have been able to get out. They gave us a spot in the dead end. The smaller camper would have fit, but he would have had no way at all to get level in that sloping spot! It was a real disappointment. Since we were not physically able to occupy the spots, we had to cancel. They still charged us the cancellation fee of $20 per site. We lost $80 on something they could not deliver. We will not be returning to this place and we didn't even have the chance to stay there!
