This was my 2nd time staying here this summer. Last time ai stayed 11 days. This time was 4 days. Great location close to retail stores and restaurants. There is plenty of parking and the room was spacious and clean. The wifi didn’t connect to our room; however. I reported the issue to the front desk twice; got no service for 4 days. The key card lock on our room was iffy; it took several swipes to work. Still, the room was worth the price, and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. The kitchenette is great, but if you’re staying longer than a couple nights pack drinking glasses, bowls, and eating utensils. The Hometown Suites offers good value overall.

Showed up at 12:10 am. And was met at the door to the lobby and told that my reservation had been cancelled so to an audit. I was told that I could also not rent a nother room because there computer was down.
I am still waiting for my refund

Fridge didn't work told staff she told maintenance guy no one came to switch it out key entry was not working properly and elevator was dirty

This was one of the worst hotel experinces in my life. It's sad that (out of three Red Roof locations) the only one that was good was near the Nashville Airport, in Nashville, TN.
The room in Springfield-Eugene, OR, was terrible. It smelled of cigarette smoke and urine. The lamp shades were nicotene yellow and broken. There were marks and holes and GOD KNOWS WHAT red substance dripping from one of the wall outlets! The door jam was all beat up and someone had tried to jimmy it open with a crowbar. There were burn marks (obviously from cigarettes or crack pipes) in the restroom and near the bed.
I didn't have the opportunity to go elsewhere because there was an event at Autzen Stadium and all local hotels were full, so I kept the room.

If you’re thinking about staying here, don’t. This was one of the only options left for an event in Eugene so we risked it. In hindsight, I would have rather paid double to stay elsewhere. The rooms are outdated, dingy, and not clean. There were cob webs in the corners and I didn’t want to walk around without shoes. There was also dog poop all over outside in the grass.
