Front desk worker was rude and dismissive. Booked two rooms and one was one queen bed instead of two. Line at checkout to discuss was too long with only one person working so we left. However the Dining room staff was wonderful.

We have stayed twice at this hotel for 2-3 days over the past 6 weeks. Conveniently located. It is under a general updating construction project. The main floor is fine, but the rooms, carpets and hallways are dated and worn down. That being said, the price is average but generally does not include parking or breakfast as it should, especially with the ongoing renovations. The concierge staff is friendly and helpful as was our waiter for breakfast. The woman manning the coffee and muffin stand was sullen, taciturn and obviously despises her job and, I suspect, most of her unsuspecting customers. We were awakened one morning at 6AM by drilling and hammering from the construction. When made aware of this the concierge put an end to it and compted us breakfast and parking. I did not hear it again. Local TV feed offers CNN and MSNOW but not FOX. So they please half their customers and piss off the rest.

The reception staff was very friendly and welcoming and helpful with all my questions.
And the waiters and waitresses at breakfast and dinner were very nice.
The bartenders and people who work at Starbucks are extremely rude and unfriendly and did not seem to want to help in any way. Received attitude for asking for a cup of milk for child for the nighttime and asking for a coffee with creamer at the Starbucks.
The pool was very dirty and rusty with mold growing on the walls on the pool.
The rooms need major upgrading and are not well maintained. The bed was on a tilt, the shower head was coming off the wall.

Front desk staff was not welcoming. One of the main reasons for choosing this hotel was to use the pool, which was closed both nights. On our 2nd day, I called the hotel to see if the pool would be open when we got back later in the day (would affect how we arranged the day). The person answering the phone said, the pool was opened. We got back went to use the pool and it was still closed. Very poor experience. Would not recommend.

They were doing construction and the hall way had no lights and they started at 7:45 am. My refrigerator froze my drinks, the gentleman at the front desk was not helpful at all when I questioned my invoice. Instead of taking some money off my invoice only offered me a bottle of water which I thought was a slap in the face given my experience. He could have deducted at least 1 night of parking. I also found it ridiculous to charge 25 dollars a day to park on the property.
