Don't just tour a mansion, stay in a pre-Civil War plantation

We wished to not just tour historic antebellum mansions, we wanted to stay and experience a pre-Civil War mansion. Brandon Hall provided us this opportunity.
Vintage furnishings grace this well maintained property which is situated on the most serene and tranquil rural location imaginable. Towering live oaks and pecan trees are best enjoyed while sipping wine on one of the several large porches.
Breakfast was delicious and is followed by a personal tour which explains Brandon Hall's rich history. Our room was surprisingly spacious and offered just enough contemporary pleasures without distracting from the antiquity of the landmark.
Located right on the Natchez Trail Parkway provides a most pleasant 8 minute cruise into the city of Natchez.
We highly recommend a stay at Brandon Hall.

History, hospitality, and incredible restoration

Brandon Hall is a remarkable place to stay, both for its beauty and for the history it holds. Built in 1856, the house has hosted five U.S. presidents, including Franklin D. Roosevelt, who announced the Natchez Trace from its porch. That history feels very present when you are sitting outside or walking through the house.
The restoration is extraordinary. My husband is a carpenter, and he was amazed by the craftsmanship and woodwork throughout. Our bed was very comfortable, the bathrooms were exceptionally clean, and Bobbie, the house manager, could not have been more accommodating.
Breakfast was delicious, with the added bonus of Bobbie giving us a history lesson and tour, that carried the story of Brandon Hall right through to the present day. She made the stay very personal and memorable.
Brandon Hall is a rare chance to stay somewhere beautiful, comfortable and genuinely connected to the history of the Natchez region.

Very special place…

What a special place, how fortunate for us we found it on our slow drive up to Maine from Central Texas.
Bobbie was an excellent host and shared great knowledge of the plantation along with serving a great breakfast.
We look forward to our return trip, we will stay there again. ( we had the Carpenter Cottage, very comfortable king bed, great stay).

Serene beauty close to Natchez

A stunningly beautiful antebellum plantation house just off the Natchez Trace near Natchez. Large comfortable rooms and wonderful breakfast. A perfect spot for exploring the region or even as a stopover for cyclists on the Trace.

Brandon Hall 5*

This was place was really good but what made it even better was the customer service. Mrs Bobbie was incredible! She was the direct contact for everything including cooking your breakfast and providing the tour. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone who like the historical sites and that is going to be in the areal. The house and grounds were amazing!
