Despite the ongoing renovations, I enjoyed my stay. My room was big and clean. The staff were helpful. The only caveat is that one of the two elevators was broken so the wait for the elevator was often a bit long. But overall, I’d stay here again.

I understand that the hotel is undergoing renovations, however our room was clearly not finished, and I should not have had to pay full price for a suite with NO refrigerator, NO microwave, No dishes or silverware, NO cabinets, NO iron, No soapdish in the shower, a non-working USB port and a dingy used coffee maker. There were not enough towels, and the front desk was frequently unattended. This was 2 weekends in a row. If the room was not ready, we should have been informed or it should not have been sold. We have been staying at the Parkview for at least 25 years, and this was extremely disappointing.

My husband and I have been regular guests at the Parkview for at least 20 years or so. The hotel is now owned by the Hilton Corp and is being renovated to become a Hampton Inn. While they appear to be doing a good job, our room was lacking in a number of ways. I booked a suite with a kitchenette, as usual. Although the room was new and clean, the "kitchenette" was merely a little sink in the bedroom area, with the usual microwave and mini fridge. There was nothing else, not even a roll of paper towels or a coffee pot. No dishes or silverware, basically useless. The bathroom was nice and new, but there was no soap, no soap dish, and not a single little shelf in the shower, so the bottle of shower gel had to be placed on the floor. There was no housekeeping, so I had to request fresh towels. The breakfast was awful and the staff was very unfriendly. Saturday morning the waffle makers were broken, and Sunday morning at 9am the eggs were empty, there were two boxes of cocoa krispies, three pats of butter, basically just toast, sausage, some yogurt and clementines. At least 3 staff members were wiping down counters but not refilling a thing. They do have the usual 24/7 coffee in the lobby which is nice and front desk staff was very nice. Hopefully things will get better when the renovation is complete, because we have always enjoyed staying here, but this experience was disappointing.

I have stayed at the Parkview multiple times. Staff is nice, hotel is clean, breakfast is provided.

Brand new room. Spacious shower. Comfortable bed. Great experience! Would stay there again!
It is under construction but nothing left in the hallways.
