Andruss isn’t bougie but it’s well maintained and clean. Everything (such as outlets) worked which is more than I can say for many of the fancier places I’ve stayed. Staff was very friendly and helpful plus both of the other motel guests I met were repeat customers. Both said they had stayed at Andruss multiple times and I would also stay there again. Best part, the bed was so comfortable that it was the best sleep I had on this trip.

This place was neat. Steve was very helpful and knowledgeable. The pool was sparkly clean and so was cabin we booked. They have grills outside you can use. Hubby and I made ourselves a steak, potato salad and kale salad dinner. We will be back!

Stayed at Andruss Motel in Coleville recently, and wow, it’s hands down the best spot in the area.
The room was super clean and roomy, WiFi was rock solid, and the full kitchen (fridge, microwave, oven, stove, everything) made it easy to whip up meals and bake cinnamon rolls..
Love how the general store’s just a short walk away for groceries, plus they even have live music!
Parking was a breeze with my full-size truck, plenty of space to maneuver, and the heater kept things toasty on those chilly Sierra nights.
Last shout out (otherwise this review would be way too long) for the high quality of shampoo, conditioner, and other included bathroom essentials. Female approved ✅
Had an awesome stay overall and already planning my next trip back—don’t miss it if you’re in the area!

A Hidden Gem with a Big Heart

Our stay at Andruss Motel will always stand out to us, not just because of how clean and comfortable the room was, but because of the kindness we were shown when we needed it most.
Steve, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported during a family emergency, which was the reason we were there. Instead of feeling like “just guests,” we felt like people he genuinely cared about. That kind of hospitality is rare and unforgettable.
The motel itself is quiet, cozy, and perfectly located for a peaceful stop in the Eastern Sierra. The beds were comfortable, the room was spotless, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing.
If you’re looking for a place with heart, this is it. We will never forget the kindness shown to our family and would recommend this place without hesitation.
