We did a last minute trip and ended up staying here on our way to Wrightsville beach. Very nice place, went to bar next door and had a couple drinks and live music. Hotel very nice and staff very helpful. Breakfast next morning was good also. Would definitely stay here again.

Front Desk person was very helpful. Breakfast bar had better than average hot food. Room was fine, bed was firm and comfortable, fabric chairs a bit "sticky."

Horrible stay!

I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone! I had the displeasure of staying here this past weekend and it was nothing short of awful. Will not return!

Floor was so filthy that the brand new socks that I had for my stay were practically black. I left them there because they were beyond saving. No telling the last time they cleaned the floors in the rooms. Mind you, we were only there from Sat-Sun and this is how dirty the floor was.
Turned shower on and while waiting for the water to get hot, brown water started to come out of the drain and fill the tub. Called manager and she came to look. She said this happens when it rains and it causes the sewer water to come through the pipes. She asked did we want to change rooms but we were already rushing to attend an event that we were in town for, so we told her that we didnt have enough time to move everything and asked that she compensate us. We wanted a plumber to come in but they said maintenance doesnt work on the weekends (which is insane)
After returning from the event that night, more brown water had accumulated in the shower. Went to the front desk to let them know we were checking out early in the morning and wanted to know how they would resolve the issues we had. They said they could refund $100. We didnt feel as if that was enough considering all we experienced and $100 didnt even cover a full nights stay.
(Note: we weren’t the only ones in our group to have issues. The other couple has water coming through their windows.)
Management finally called back but was very unprofessional .
I would definitely not recommend this place.

Housekeeper stole my ring and when I called to retrieve it, every person stated that hosuekeeping was not there and that their items were locked up. I called multiple times over a period of 3 weeks.

This was a very nice hotel for this area. I splurged on it and was sorry I couldn't stay more than one night. It was quiet, the shampoo items were high quality, the A/C worked great.
The breakfast was good as well. I was able to get a cheese omelette which is great protein.
