I understand the need for places like this. My wife and I booked a room as it was the only place in Waterville under like $300. I was still disappointed with it.
I am by no means hard to please but we decided to drive the hour and a half home after a concert versus staying here. Some paint and general care would go a long way at a place like this. We stayed in our room for about 5 minutes. It was dirty, footsteps above us were extremely loud, and it was just very depressing.

This hotel matches its name budget. Very old kind of creaky. The continental breakfast was good, but limited and the shower had a nice hot water.

The only problem I saw was that the wifi was weak. It's an older place but well maintained.
