My review of Central Motel Courtyard

​I stayed at this Motel, central motel courtyard from Sunday, March 10 to Thursday, March 14. I read this motel has a reputation as a hot sheet motel. I didn't see any signs of that while I was here. This is a two-story motel no elevator. My room was on the second floor. They give you a card that you scan to enter the room. This place is so convenient there's a shake shack down the block. The beeline bus # 20/21 from the Bronx stops across the street from the motel. There's a Trader Joes a few blocks away.
My room didn't have a phone, but I did have a mini-fridge, a microwave a coffee machine, a large wall T.V., a large mirror. A 4 drawer dresser, a closet with hangers, a desk, many outlets. They have a shower no tub. I needed to iron a shirt and they lent me an iron. They give you small samples of shampoo and conditioner. They give you 2 free 16.9 fl oz bottles of water. I stayed here for 4 days but asked that my room not be clean. I found out after I left from the receptionist that every day they clean your room. They put 2 new 16.9 fl oz of water in your room. Next time I'll ask for my room to be cleaned !!!
I enjoyed my stay I only had one guy next door who was coughing loud the first 2 days. I would stay here again. It's peaceful and safe oh WIFI was great.

Disgusting

I would give it a 0 if I could. Stopped here during the blizzard because it was the closest place available. The room was absolutely disgusting - stains, burn holes, a bad smell, broken fixtures. We immediately left. Front desk said if I called back the next day we’d get a refund. Needless to say the number provided says “invalid” when you call. In my rush to leave I also left my bag outside the room. When i went back there was no one there and still no answer. So now my credit card has been charged AND i lost my bag. Terrible, terrible place!

Worst hovel I have ever stayed in

Landed at JFK and started to travel, however we got tired and asked Siri for a motel, which it took us to this cesspit.(I intend to take this up with a Google as how dare it even mention this place). Car park had cars on jacks and the woman behind reception was the most miserable unwelcoming specimen I how ever met. Now for the room $150 for a night!!!! FFs, the bed was nailed together, every inch was stained and filthy stunk to high heaven and everything was nailed down, tbh it’s not fit for bums and I certainly wouldn’t wish this hole on my worst enemy. If we weren’t so tired through travel we would have walked straight out but had to stick it out. $150 for a night?? I wouldn’t stop there if you paid me and I am not joking either!! As some here said it’s only fit for prostitutes or druggies but I thought even they may have standards. An embarrassment for the USA for tourists to see this!!

Disgusting, filty, roach motel, drug infested

DON NOT BOOK THIS MOTEL. I came from Long Island for a graduation at the Westchester Expo Center, I thought this would be a great place to stay in because it ws so close to the Center. As soon as I pulled in I knew I made a mistake, you have to be buzzed into the reception (or what they call a reception area) and a girl behind a glass partition takes your information and credit card, then give you a card to enter your room. I could not believe what I was walking into. The bathroom was disgusting. Roaches crawling all over the place, the bed had a large bump in it. I pulled the sheet down to see and the sheet had a blood stain and some sort of other stain. I grabbed my bags and went down and told the receptionist I was out of there, and that this was the most disgusting place I have ever been. She gave me a receipt stating my credit card was refunded. I spoke with my credit card company and they said it has not be reimbursed. Don't book here. This is the most filthiest motel I have ever seen.

Only for Drug Dealers and Prostitutes

They won't let me give zero stars. This place is gross. There are prostitutes and drug dealers outside. I had to change 3 rooms and each one had stains on the sheets and were just vile dirty and smelly. I had to leave, I could not stay there. The hotel proceeded to charge me $120 for the night even though I did not stay. When I called to dispute the charge, the hotel owner lied and said it was a cancellation fee charged by hotels.com. When I called hotels.com, they said it was her hotel charging for a full night stay, not the cancellation fee. DO NOT BOOK!
