Why we love SNI

Repeat guests to SNI every year multiple times and each time we go we fall in love over and over…the staff, the property, Maine and to be honest it’s a totally recharge on our relationship personally..it definitely defines a true happy place with 5 star all over it. Amazing location, superb staff

We just returned home from a wonderful birthday celebration at the inn, and we wanted to send our appreciation for the thoughtful, professional service of many staff members that contributed to a special weekend with family. Wendy assisted with our reservations and questions about the menu; Corrine provided friendly, efficient service at dinner and the same from Abby at breakfast. Our guests were amazed that the breakfast staff remembered their favorite dishes and coffee preferences from one day to the next. As the birthday cake/cupcakes were brought out by a Corrine and a couple of assistants, the pianist even played “Happy Birthday!” At checkout, Donna worked hard to correct a couple of billing mistakes. Each person, in his/her own way contributed to an easy and enjoyable experience. This is no small feat. Without great people, delicious food and beautiful rooms aren’t enough. Of course, everyone appreciates the stunning location. Thank you for making this a memorable weekend for us, even as you managed two weddings and other events. Quite a team!

The person who checked me in didn’t explain anything (including that free drinks and breakfast were included or where anything was). We ended up buying drinks at the pool because we didn’t realize we had small pieces of paper behind the key cards that entitled us to drinks. When I explained to the woman at check out, she didn’t seem to care. Generally not very hospitable staff.

Best wedding experience ever!

We rented a wonderful room at your inn on the first floor; the view of the water was the best we had seen in a long time. We were there for our niece's wedding, and the ceremony was outstanding. The food and entertainment were the best, and I would recommend your inn to anyone who wanted a relaxing, well-maintained, and delightful experience! We'll be back when we have time to enjoy your inn by ourselves! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
