Great location!

Staff is great, very helpful and kind, the location is just amazing and worth the money!
However, if you need to cook anything, you'll only find a microwave and a kettle. So think about it.
Bed was good, pillow ok but unfortunately I encountered a very noisy and annoying man right below my bed who was snoring like a chainsaw and on the next day, staff moved me to another room where I could finally get some proper rest.

Good value for money

The receptionist was extremely nice and helpful. Everyone in my room got a complimentary bath towel, do I guess that’s the norm here. I booked a 4-bed dormitory and we were 3 girls and 1 guy. The receptionist explained to me that even though they don’t have a Female or Male only dormitories they try to separate people which was evident, as our neighbouring room had 4 boys in it.
The room was spacious and do were the lockers.
A lot of bathrooms and toilets on site.
There is also small shared kitchen area on the first floor.
The only downside would be the noice from the street and the noice from the kitchen if your room is on the first floor.

Will stay here again

Great Hostel, Good Location, Helpful staff. Lot of Maps and Tour Brochures at the Reception. Kitchen and all utensils are available. Large Lockers, Clean Washrooms. Overall it was a nice Experience. Small Sitting place /Common Lounge at the Ground Floor and also outside each Floor

Not Safe at all

One of the worst experiences i’ve ever had at a hostel. Reception worker came into our room without any notice, in the middle of the night to “turn the air con off”. Me and my 2 friends were fast asleep in our 3 bed private room and a lady barged in because she said “other people need the air con on too and we can’t have them all on or else the power will go out”. One of the stupidest things i’ve ever heard. Don’t stay here if you want to feel safe and comfortable on your travels.
Also boiling rooms and very stingy with air con. No mirrors in rooms so very hard to get ready on a morning. Also only 1 shower for an entire floor seen as one was broken.
Noisy hostel too due to kitchen being in the middle of the building, you literally hear everything!

The best hostel in Ljubljana!

First off all, ignore the old reviews that bring the score of this hostel down, it’s has changed now and what you are staying in is a 10 star hostel!
This place is one of the hostels I’ve ever stayed in, so clean, modern and comfortable but most importantly the staff are the best. The attention to detail from the moment you check in till the moment you leave is world class, some places you are given a key and told to enjoy your stay, here you get that plus so much more, the gentleman who checked me in spent some time to tell me exactly where I was, where to go and what to, he detailed a map of the city for me which helped me on my way.
The room and facilities were great and the lockers are huge!
I could write forever so I’ll finish now with my highest recommendation, please stay here!
