Unforgettable tennis vacation on the Costa Brava
In May 2026, I spent four fantastic days with my tennis girls at Villa Hoy on the Costa Brava. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed with extraordinary hospitality by Monique with a bottle of wine, some salami, olives, and a baguette. A start where you immediately feel welcome and at home.
We trained, learned, and laughed every day on the lovingly landscaped tennis court directly adjacent to the villa. After that, of course, the Spanish zest for life could not be missed. With two to five Estrella beers, we simply celebrated the familiar ambiance, the relaxed atmosphere, and pure life.
But what really and authentically made this stay special is Monique. Her warm, open, and loving nature is palpable everywhere there! She not only knows a thing or two about tennis, but also has a special knack for taking care of her new home, the villa, her cacti, and the guests on site. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality make Villa Hoy a very special place.
We felt completely comfortable, laughed a lot, trained excellently, and spent a wonderful time together.

was für wunderschöne Worte , vielen, vielen Dank! Deine Bewertung hat mich wirklich berührt.
Ich habe die vier Tage mit euch als Tennismädels genauso sehr genossen! So viel Tennis, Lachen, gute Gespräche, spanische Lebensfreude und natürlich das ein oder andere Estrella, genau das macht für mich einen perfekten Tennisurlaub aus .
Und ganz besonders habe ich mich darüber gefreut, dass ihr euch nach eurem Aufenthalt bei mir auch in der deutschen Konkurrenz behauptet und die Klasse gehalten habt! Das ist wirklich eine tolle Leistung – und ich bin ein kleines bisschen stolz, dass ich euch dafür vielleicht den einen oder anderen Ball mit auf den Weg geben durfte .
Es bedeutet mir sehr viel, dass ihr auch die kleinen Dinge bemerkt habt, die mir so am Herzen liegen – die Villa, der Garten, meine Kakteen und natürlich die Atmosphäre, die ich hier geschaffen habe.
Dass ihr euch so wohlgefühlt, viel gelacht und gleichzeitig so gut trainiert habt, macht mich einfach glücklich. Genau solche Momente machen meine Arbeit für mich zu etwas ganz Besonderem.
Ich hoffe sehr, dass es nicht euer letzter Tennisurlaub bei mir war. Ihr seid jederzeit wieder herzlich willkommen!

Great setting, great amenities, great hostess. A fantastic stay. Wish I could stay here for much longer.
The location, the setting, the amenities, the service, the home feel were all fantastic.
It is a place were you can use either as a base for exploring the areas around, or even stay in and enjoy the pool or the tennis court.
Monique, the owner, is a wealth of information and knowledge about the area, and her advices were all on point. She is a perfect hostess always available to chat, help and give any advice you might need.
I also highly recommend to go to the village for the fresh bread and croissants. (They close at 1, so you better get there by 8 for the best choice).
I fully recommend the whole experience. However, if you are looking for a party place, this is not for you.

Unforgettable and relaxing vacation.
We had a wonderful and unforgettable vacation at Villa Hoy. Monique is a wonderful host. She provided us with a relaxing stay, gives qualified tennis training, and great excursion and insider tips. The apartments are modern and very tastefully furnished; everything you need is there. The tennis court, the pool, the beautiful garden, and the extensively equipped outdoor kitchen create a feel-good atmosphere.

The photos don’t really do this place enough credit; in reality it’s even more breathtaking. The property has a lovely swimming pool, an excellent tennis court and a beautifully maintained garden. What really made our stay complete was the incredibly nice and social hostess. This stay is an absolute must!

Villa Hoy is a top spot!
Really a top spot! Whether you come for a rest or want to do something active, it's all there. The hostess is a great and pampers you completely. Still unsure if this is the right place? Don't do that. Just book that vacation.

Wat fijn om te lezen dat je zo hebt genoten van je verblijf bij Villa Hoy. Het is precies waar ik voor sta: een plek waar je helemaal tot rust kunt komen, maar waar ook genoeg te beleven is voor wie graag actief op pad gaat.
