Vacation Spanish hiking

Very comfortable stay! Comfort,cleanliness and excellent welcome. A great standing at low prices. Go ahead with your eyes closed. We loved discovering this natural setting in the middle of nature , and immersing ourselves in the local Spanish culture . Everything was there.

Good accommodation but we expected something more

We stayed with a little dog for five nights. The accommodation appeared well rated and with good reviews, so we decided to book.
The cottage is well maintained and the cleanliness is very good, but it is true that we lacked a breakfast service (since in the village there is also no great offer) and more attention from the owner, who we only saw to check in and check out.
We had a room that smelled damp even though it has made us very nice weather all week. As much as we vented, the humidity seemed permanent and the towels could not get them to dry.
In short, we found it a good accommodation but we would not repeat.

Peaceful mountain escape

Beautiful mountain setting between Bilbao and San Sebastian. Clean and comfortable rooms. Fabulous friendly service. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable common areas. Super pet friendly. Lots of farm animals to enjoy. Great place to relax!

Magical

We stayed here for one night en route to southern Spain by happy chance, what a find. We fully intend to make this a regular stop when travelling to or from UK to southern Spain. The hosts could not be more welcoming, and that includes to our dog. Our room on the ground floor was large and comfortable, but the whole thing about this place is the experience. Proper Basque, the local village is steeped in tradition and the values of a simple, honest way of life. We ate at the restaurant aligned to the casa by virtue of the fact that the chef is the host's partner, an easy ten minute walk away. At the casa car parking is easy, free WiFi good, but that's by the by. It's like stepping out of time into a simpler, better place. Magical.

Wonderfully tranquil

We loved this casa! Very calm and peaceful after San Sebastián. The rooms are tiny, but the terraza and living area are great. Everything was nice and tidy. The town is small, so have breakfast with Mara.
