A very cool place, but with some things that could be improved.

We stayed only one night because we were just passing through. They gave us room number 2. It is a room that is very nice, but it has one drawback: the window does not face the street, it faces an interior lounge, and now in summer, it gets extremely hot. There is a fan, but it is not sufficient because the room cannot be cooled down, making it difficult to rest. In any case, we have been talking with the owners, who are lovely, and we mentioned it to see if in the future they can make that specific room more comfortable. The place is an old mill that belongs to the municipality and has entrusted the management to this charming couple. It feels like sleeping in a magical place. Everything is decorated with great care, making the place super cozy.
The breakfast is buffet-style and is fantastic, with quality products and natural juices.
The potato omelet was impressive; you could tell it was homemade and freshly made, just like the oatmeal and blueberry pancakes.
Things to keep in mind:
- There is no elevator. To access the rooms, you have to go up stairs.
- In our room, there was a small step to access the bathroom.
- It is a very well-preserved historic building that maintains the original stone floors, which have some unevenness due to years of wear.
- The location is beautiful because it overlooks the river and a wooded area.
- The couple who run it are open to all kinds of suggestions and are charming.
- The extra bed has a surcharge of €30 on top of the reservation price, which is currently not indicated anywhere, but we have discussed it with the owners so they can include it in the rates section of their website.
- In the bathroom, there is no surface to place the toiletry bag.
- The mattresses are 190cm long, but they are extremely comfortable, and the pillows are too.
