Excellent service
Stayed for a Sunday night in April after 7 hrs driving arriving at 4.30 pm. Hotel reception were very helpful and showed us where to park. Unfortunately on a Sunday virtually every bar and restaurant is closed from 4/8 pm. The hotels Taberna bar opened up at 8pm. The service was excellent the food was good.

The hotel is badly neglected. Hallway ceiling is falling apart, room and bathroom smelled like mildew. Linens have seen better days. We had 2 rooms and both rooms had the same mildew issue. Staff is supper friendly and helpful. The restaurant is quite good and the location is great. It is just unfortunate that they have not renovated the rooms and hallways.

Not too big room, but everything you need
The hotel is quite winding; the room is not too big and on the street side as expected something loud but nothing annoying. The room offers everything you need, in good well maintained condition. The staff is friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast is delicious and offers various. Recommended? Yeah. Did I try something different on a next visit to Almería? Yes, because the hotels are probably all on the same level.

Good hotel with lousy staff
It is the second time we have stayed at the hotel and the second time we have had problems with the staff.
The hotel is right, central and comfortable. When booking almost a year in advance, we were booked the parking space, but the previous time they did not, although we were able to park in the hotel garage, which seems far away when you go from the hotel door to the driveway, but close when you leave on foot.
On this occasion, upon arrival, they still did not have one of the two rooms ready and we had to wait. We were made to pay the entire reservation at the time of check-in. I asked to be able to pay when I got off, in ten minutes, and they wouldn’t let me, so I had to pay by card, so I didn’t have to open the luggage in the middle of the reception. They were very unsympathetic in this respect.
Breakfast staff were also unempathetic. The first day we ordered natural yogurts and were told that, for the holidays (only one), they were no longer left and that the new order had not yet arrived. On the second day, we asked to be able to sit three people at a table of four (those of three are very fair) and were told that it was only for four people, who could not be occupied with only three. Evidently, not all four were taken care of while we were having breakfast. We ordered the natural yogurts again and were told the same thing as the day before (four days of the holiday had already passed).
The hotel is central and correct, the rooms not very spacious, but correct, with comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom needs a larger screen in the shower so it doesn’t leave everything full of water every time you shower.

An overnight stay
We sfayed for 1 night at this hotel. We booked a superior room which was quite basic but clean and with noisy air conditioning. There was a safe and a bar/fridge. Car parking was remote from the hotel in a farage. There was a seat with a statue of John Lennon outside the hotel.
