THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE
FIRST: when this accommodation was rented, what is shown in the photos is not the same as what you find.
SECOND: on the day we arrived, they gave us two apartments, each worse than the last. One of them was better ventilated because it had a sliding door but it was a mess. Everything was dirty, rotten food inside the wardrobes, stained beds, bathrooms full of hair, the light fixture couldn't hold another cobweb. The broken spiral stairs that I almost fell down more than 3 times.
THIRD: The other apartment had a regular door, it had no ventilation at all downstairs, it smelled old and musty. The upper part was quite normal but at night the bathroom was a war zone with small cockroaches. The next day when we got up, in the living room, 5 large cockroaches from the street had entered, each bigger than the last, all alive. I had an anxiety attack in the apartment to the point that I no longer cared about losing the money, as I had to rent another one because I was asking for solutions and NOBODY GAVE US A SOLUTION. The concierge invited us to leave the apartment and then told us that we would not be allowed to enter anymore, treating us poorly when we had only complained about what was in the booking photos.
Unfortunately, the education of the workers was terrible, and the hygiene of the apartments was even worse.
I have no need to spend more money on an apartment; it is normal for them to find us a solution.
But with this, I hope that people do not go and continue to rot.

Basic but clean, tidy and enjoyable. Very noisy at night. Ideal for revellers to return to after a night out.
I stayed at Las Tortugas with my young son when visiting Tenerife for the first time. Having read the reviews, my expectations were low, but we had a good time. The accommodation was basic and a bit tired, but pretty clean and dry. We had a balcony and a rooftop terrace, warm comfortable bed and hot shower with a lounge/kitchen/diner downstairs, which had all the things we needed to cook, wash and clean, as well as free wifi and TV. There was also a nice balcony overlooking the pool area and a rooftop terrace with sea views. The pool area was well maintained, clean and salubrious. My son and I spent hours enjoying the pool. Slight negatives were the electrics which were unreliable, especially the lights which didn't always switch off when we flicked the switches. I felt that the sockets in the bedroom were not great, but we didn't have any real problems with them. The staff were attentive and unobtrusive and worked hard to communicate with us despite the language barrier.
The main downside was the noise. There is no getting away from the fact that this apartment is situated right in the middle of the bustling nightlife district where loud music plays from about 11pm all the way through the night until 4am. We arrived prepared for this with noise-cancelling headphones etc, but in spite of that, we did still find sleep hard to come by. I would recommend this place to people visiting Playa de las Americas for the nightlife (if you can't beat them, join them) but if you are looking for a relaxing break with plenty of rest at night, it is perhaps better to look elsewhere.

Terrible place to stay
The place was riddled with cockroaches found at least 15 on my first day there I then decided to check the rest of the place and I was appalled to see all around the kitchen area was food from whoever was last here dead cockroaches dirty dishes and cups, shower also was broken so had to hold it whilst I wash myself and the bathroom was also dirty, been no pool since 2019, electricity was dodgy, place is full with unwelcoming people and drug use, door is hanging on by a thread and can be easily broken into if u were yank it, the bed was also uncomfortable felt like I was sleeping in a jail bed, from what I can see this room has 100% not been cleaned and if the cleaners think this is clean they need to find a new job because it clearly ain’t for them, apart from how dirty the place was and all the faults we’ve found it is a nice place to stay at only if they maintained it and looked after there rooms
